  1. By all means, if that's the culture the forum is going for no big deal. Just my opinion and I'm not acting like it would be a loss for me to Stop posting because it wouldn't be. Just pointing out that constant negativity tends to chase people away.
  2. Yes. Defense has been absolutely abysmal. Embarrassing really. Unacceptable for big leaguers to throw the ball around like that. Castillo has been slow behind the plate. Throws in from the outfielders have been off the mark. Fundamentals are not taught at the major league level. The players are to blame.
  3. When all you do is complain about everything why continue to watch or follow? Idk about you but most people dont enjoy surrounding themselves with endless negativity. It's kind of a drag.
  4. When you spend hours a day complaining on a message board about the same thing over and over again, it gives the impression that it makes you miserable. If I spend all day complaining about my wife each and every day... but then say I love her and she makes me happy that wouldnt make much sense. The overwhelming negative posts that endlessly flow through an ingame thread about the offseason and etc is a massive turn off to the site imo. Want to complain about the team throwing the ball around the field like little leaguers in this game? Makes complete sense.
  5. You're not forced to watch or follow though. That's what I don't understand. When things make me miserable I stop doing them.
  6. Doesnt it get boring or depressing being so negative all the time?
  7. Those arent strikes. Guy cant find the damn plate and ump is giving him a break. Just terrible.
  8. Lol like watching a little league team throw the ball around the field. Just embarrassing.
  9. Jack it's not even April. Chris sale was throwing 92 his first start. Is he finished? Velocity can be down early in the season for a lot of reasons, weather being one. Jones velocity has been depleted by about 200 injuries.
  10. He may be finished. His fastball needs to sit high 90s to be effective.
  11. Eloy going to adjust about as quickly as a hitter can with the slider attack. You can see it - trying to stay back and already seems to understand that's the plan of attack.
  12. He was born in Illinois and pitched in cold weather frequently. Reynaldo Lopez is not from a cold place and probably has not spent a ton of time pitching in the cold. It certainly makes a difference.
  13. It's also cold as hell. Velocity can be down with that.
  14. Not superior to anyone - appreciate all thoughts and opinions. Have a good one, bud.
  15. Bring him down? Jeeze. A lot of uptight people on soxtalk currently. Learn to have some fun.
  16. The Sox were the leader in the clubhouse at that point. No one was telling you insider information at a 1 year olds birthday party in regards to the machado race. You released that information like 1 1/2 months before he signed and by all accounts the Sox were in front at that point. The Padres weren't even a threat at the time. Learn to laugh at yourself pal. The fake insider stuff is funny. Who cares?
  17. Always my dude - enjoy our interactions. Have a good weekend with the family. Hopefully we can pull out a couple dubs.
  18. Huh? It was a joke because of his fake insider stuff from that birthday party in the Machado thread. Just having some fun with the guy. Relax, take a step back and have a laugh pal. My goodness.
