Could be a nice domino effect. Trade Crochet to the Mets then trade for Ben Rice when the Yankees sign Alonso or Walker. Bada bing bada boom.

Rule 5 Draft
It's the rule 5 draft. These guys are the best of the bunch. Unfortunately there are no Tarik Skubal or Zack Wheelers available.

Rule 5 Draft
It sounds like they're gonna get a pitcher with the first pick. I would think like last year they would try to grab a lefty. Ryan Webb or Bryan Magdaleno would work. If they take a player in the 2nd round I would think they would go for a speed bench guy. Cooper Bowman would be a great get if he were still available. Dasan Brown would be an interesting pick too.

Kopech: Dodger trade was a blessing
The reason why there's a losing culture is because players like Kopech, Robert, Benintendi, Moncada, Eloy etc didn't play up to their abilities. Move on from all of them and never look back.

This funky bastard has a real shot at being a future lock down closer.

Sox sign INF Nick Maton
Yes and younger brother Jacob is in the Texas Rangers org. Another fun fact. They all went to the same HS as Reid and Parker Detmers, Jayson Werth and future 1st rounder Cam Appenzeller.

If that's the criteria Tanner Kohlhepp would be way more fun than Bobby Seymour.

Manfred: mlb considering “Golden at bat” rule
They're going to continue chasing their tail with these ridiculous rule changes until they address the elephant in the room.

- Dodgers defenestrating Sox, Snell signs 5 years, $182 million
The Dodgers are gonna have another roster crunch. They will be at 37 after signing Snell and they're likely not done adding players. They also have 4 pitchers on the 60 day DL they will eventually have to make a decision on. They could swing a Michael Busch-like trade but if they dfa someone the Sox are first in line.- Potential Crochet Trade discussion Thread
C'mon Mets!- White Sox asking for "top prospects" for Robert
When he plays I expect Robert to play well next year because he'll actually be motivated by something. Money. He has a $20M payday waiting for him. That said I still think the risk of injury is too great (just like it was for Moncada) and they should move on from him now. Don't make the same mistake twice.- White Sox asking for "top prospects" for Robert
They're not picking up his option so he's essentially on a 1 yr deal. If he gets hurt (again) in april or may they get nothing. They have to unload him now.- Potential Crochet Trade discussion Thread
Probably need to start a Luis Robert trade discussion thread.- Andrew Benintendi on the trade market (duh)
I have no idea.- Andrew Benintendi on the trade market (duh)
It's gonna be close but I think they're gonna sign a pitcher to a Fedde like deal. 2/$15M. 2/$20M. Something like that but it will probably be back loaded. Ha- Andrew Benintendi on the trade market (duh)
https://www.soxon35th.com/report-white-sox-outfielder-andrew-benintendi-on-the-trade-market/ Will they include him in a Crochet trade. Will they find a way to move him in another deal. Will they eat some money and if so how much.- Hitting Prospects
Projecting forward is the key but it's very difficult to do. It's not about what the player is now or what he was in the past. It's about what's the player going to be in one year, three years, five years. Mistakes are made when only looking backwards. Makeup is a huge part of projecting forward and that's what makes it so tricky and why the teams that truely drill down on the makeup are the ones who are most successful at developing players.- Non-Tender Day
I love Mass but they're getting Gav. - Dodgers defenestrating Sox, Snell signs 5 years, $182 million
