If I remember correctly @fathomwas not a fan.
-
This is very interesting. I'm not a Prada guy so I would replace him with Clifford or Gilbert but this isn't bad.
-
He was an under the radar guy but I guess the cat is out of the bag now (thanks Hudson). I really like him. He's very physical and super athletic w/big time tools. Where or if he goes will depend on how he hits this spring. It always comes down to the bat.

Sean Manaea doesn't stop anyone from doing anything let alone the freakin Mets. -

Wong is a paper pusher. He'll have zero say in baseball ops. Chill LOL at Haber leaving on his own. -
Teams are testing Getz resolve. They have to get it out there that they don't HAVE to trade him now. This is just more postering.

No s%*#, Bob. -
Agreed
-
Nope. He gone!
-
The Mariners like the Orioles were always a nonfactor. It's betwwen the Yankees and Mets.
-
Agreed.
-
Haber ruined more drafts (and other departments) it's unbelievable they didn't shitcan him before now. Things are going to look very different going forward. What I'm wondering is if they're gonna be open to trading some of these minor leaguers so they can at least get some value out of them.
-
Nope. He won't remind anyone of Brooks Robinson down there but he'll be just fine.
-
I like it. Baty can really crank. He's a middle of the order bat and above avg 3b. Tidwell and Vasil have middle of the rotation potential. Vientos has plus power potential and Sproat is a power arm who has a chance to stay a starter or at worst is a high leverage reliever. I think this would be a very good return.
-
In the deal they get I think it will be for a pitcher, a hitter and a third piece. A Mets deal could look something like Baty or Williams, Tidwell or Vasil and Vientos/Sproat. A Yankees deal could look something like Jones/Dominguez, Warren/Hampton, Beeter/Selvidge. I don't think it's going to be an all pitchers or all hitters package.

You know how I feel about undersized players but this little runt is an exception to the rule. This dude's a badass.
-
BTW- does this mean I know more then Ken Rosenthal? If so, it's a tall midget award but I guess I'll take it.
-
I've been thinking about this. They've been after some other big money free agents this off season so they're probably looking at the big picture. They'd get Cease cheap for two years then would likely be the front runners to sign him long term and the Mets certainly aren't scared of Boras or spending big money on free agents. Afterall they are the Mets. Good luck trying to figure them out.
-
They did and they really liked Jett Williams too.
-
I was told they were definitely in.
-
dunno
-
I just don't why anyone would think that's a good thing for the Sox.
