Well one thing you can be sure of with Boras there will be no shortage of gossip. I think it's gonna be really hard for them to push him down. Two teams (Orioles and Rays) have 3 picks between the Sox 1st and 2nd rounders and a number of teams have 2 (Brewers, D'Backs, Dodgers, Red Sox, Tigers, Royals, Twins,). If they don't take him at 1-10 I don't think they're gonna get him.

This would be a GREAT time for those underlying metrics to finally kick in and Robert to have a BIG series.

Oof. It would definitely be a hitter. Maybe they could push a guy like Cannarella there. Or a guy like Mason Neville, Henry Ford or Quentin Young. There should be some pretty good options.

I think that's the strategy most everyone prefers but looking at this draft there won't be many quality arms available 3-10 but there should be quality bats. Trust me if they pass on one of these dynamic HS SS for a college arm I'm going to be mildly upset but at least I will understand their thinking so long as they go bats with the majority of the rest of their picks.
