  1. Neither will Madrigal. Steve Stone just said this on The Score last week.

I’d be too embarrassed to do it myself honestly, unless I had my kids with me.
  3. Reds are now supposedly the frontrunners to sign Castellanos. https://www.mlb.com/news/reds-nicholas-castellanos-progress
  4. Eh, a grown man hanging out with a 16 year old girl? There’s a reason he wanted her to take down the pictures. Potential statutory rape of a 16 year old is worse than cheating at baseball.
  5. Here it is... https://prosportsextra.com/mike-fiers-the-astros-whistleblower-appears-to-have-been-accused-by-two-women-of-underage-sexual-harassment/
  6. PED or pedo? I was confused as well...
  7. I was going to say, Madrigal instead of Garcia and Castellanos instead of Mazara and you have a point.
  8. Fathom was joking about it as well. Others too. Yolmer has become a White Sox meme due to the Gatorade and Ricky’s love for him.

Destihl makes some great sours. You should try some Berliner Weiss’s from Noon Whistle in Lombard as well. They can also be found at Binny’s, even though their Gummy line (New England IPA style) is far more popular. My favorite standard Gose for the summer with a nice salty taste to it is Anderson Valley Brewing The Kimmie, The Yink and The Holy Gose Ale.
  10. Yep, I honestly haven’t bought their beers in a while because I just wasn’t digging them.
  11. Sox fans contributing to the notion that their fans only care when the Cubs lose. Ugh.
  12. Russian River Pliny the Elder. Nice. I’ve had it a few times. By the way, per the Brewers Association’s standards, Goose Island is no long considered a “craft brewery” since full ownership by Anheuser-Busch exceeds their definition’s 25% maximum ownership by a non-craft brewery. https://www.brewersassociation.org/statistics-and-data/craft-brewer-definition/
  13. It sounds like the Rangers are out on Castellanos.
  14. Because there is another angle... That Castellanos may have improved defensively in RF with more playing time there. GRate RF is easier to play than Comerica and Wrigley RF. That he will be cheaper than initially thought with the OF market apparently crumbling. And last but not least, his bat is superior to Mazara’s.
  15. Agreed, all around. There are so many better beers. You may need to spend a few bucks more but it’s worth it. Sours are hugely popular these days. I love Gose’s and Berliner’s, especially in the summer. And you’re right on Cross of Gold. I’m a hop head and tend to be biased. ?
  16. Zobrist and a cheap reliever please.
  17. Sours are great and they are becoming more and more popular. Many microbrews are brewing them now. But I’m one or two and done with them. They destroy my taste buds. And New England style is definitely still hoppy but not all about the insane IBUs of the original dank, piney IPA style. It’s more juicy and tropical.
  18. I’m huge on NE and DDH IPAs. Drinking Noon Whistle Gummy Vortex and Saint Errant Takers and Leavers right now. I’ll have to grab some Gummy Banter as well.
  19. Agreed. Very close on WAR but Donaldson (34) is 3 years older than Grandal (31).
  20. He is terribly boring. Wow.
