These gigantic salaries are killing the motivation to work hard. Robert and Moncada are very rich men while having limited success.

Actually...building the scouting department, coaching staff, and finding B grade free agents is probably the right way to go for a franchise opposed to going "all in" on the star caliber guys. We definitely need to avoid the over the over the hill gang.

Bill Veeck didn't have the money to compete but never stopped finding ways to entertain the fan. Lousy teams are part of baseball but failure to entertain the fan is inexcusable.

This was 1972 and Bobby Hull was the "Golden Jet" not an abuser. Hull was a true superhero to Chicagoans. JR has done nothing so offensive to the fan base in comparison.
