OUTFIELD A MAJOR ISSUE.
You could do a lot worse than Avi 2017 model. Doesn't cover quite the ground I like but great arm.

Dallas Keuchel signs one year deal with Braves
I agree. The horse has left the barn on Keuchel.

Lopez Needs to go down
I agree. Ricky should try the use of a relief starter...than go to Lopez. New age thinking so don't expect to see it.

OUTFIELD A MAJOR ISSUE.
He will also need to catch and throw the ball. Can't have two Eloy's in any outfield.

Jon Jay finally assigned for rehab in AA
Players starting to realize that the grass isn't always greener elsewhere. I think Trout set a nice example of signing a "fair" contract rather than selling himself to the highest bidder.

OUTFIELD A MAJOR ISSUE.
Avi would have been the poster boy for maximum utilization of minimal resources (getting the most for your money).

Where is Nick Madrigal at in his development?
Guys who make a pitcher use 7 & 8 pitches help get into an opponents bullpen are valuable. Madrigal hits behind the runner and takes a pitcher out of his routine when he is on base. We will have an interesting mix of speed and power. I like how most of our power guys are not Konerko on the bases.

OUTFIELD A MAJOR ISSUE.
Power hitter who could hit for average and had a cannon for an arm. His downfall was being on DL while getting more expensive. I like Avi and we still need a guy similar to him.

Colome remains with White Sox, who always had ample interest in him
Just the kind of return we need. For once we are in the drivers seat. Colome is a top grade closer and those come in limited supply. I hope that nothing lures RH into some team pulling a Bummer/Colome combo. I really want Bummer on the Sox for a long time.

On a bright note...Covey has had 3 respectable starts in a row.

Can't disagree.

FS: Andrew Vaughn goes to White Sox at pick No. 3
I'm a glass half full guy...you not so much.

FS: Andrew Vaughn goes to White Sox at pick No. 3
Madrigal promoted to AA today and has been doing very well from what I read. Even has 2 unexpected HR's. His A+ league #'s in 49 games .272 BA with 6 strike outs in 289 at bats. 17 stolen bases looks pretty good. Most people would give him a pretty good chance to be next years opening day 2nd baseman. I like Yolmer as much as anyone but... he's no Madrigal.

Best Organizational Young Talent Since???
I personally watched each and every one of these players and am personally a huge fan of Aparico, Landis and Peters. They were some of my favorite players. Most fans on this site would scoff at those batting averages and home run totals. It was a different time when a slick fielding base stealer could be consider a star. Every time I bring up Madrigal who has those same qualities...I'm criticized by half the forum. Many of the other people listed as old time greats did come up in the Sox organization but played little or never with the Sox. It's great to use McLain as an example but he never pitched for the White Sox in a single game. We all toss the "statistics" around to make point. My only point is that we will be very good very soon. We had great players in the past and we have some more coming now. If you don't really see it that way...I don't know why you spend so much time on this board.

Your semantics argument about the meaning of find is not worthy of further comment other than to say you argue for arguments sake.

Best Organizational Young Talent Since???
Our major trades have been great as far as I'm concerned. I don't have as much patience as I should. I want to see the team with all the parts functioning. It has the potential to be the best team any of us has seen. Just a few pieces away now.

FS Breakdown: 3rd and 4th Round Picks Andrew Dalquist and James Beard
Beard is a Great pick from what little I know. I love speedy guys. The great ones can run you out of the park.

White Sox All Stars
I'm total 50-50 on both he and Abreu. None of us have the facts...what will someone give us and what $ number are they looking for. I know it's not a popular opinion but I'll trust RH to work it out. I will point out that today no one may need lets say Abreu. Tomorrow a Rizzo gets hurt and the Cubs are desperate to give you whatever we want. Lots of unknowns for two months out.

Kenny's Krushers
I get where your coming from and the spirit of the post. However...if you try I'm sure you could name a few more positives like Gio & Bummer.

Trade value just went down a tic.

Bunting trying to set up one run as the away team has to be the dumbest bunts of all. You have no idea of the number of runs will be needed to win the game. Really frustrating managerial decisions.
