Every player a club signs comes with risk. This should be a relatively easy decision. Getting fans into 2026 should be a motive enough.

It would be nice to see the Sox make an effort at something more exciting than another team's castoff. This would be a really good move to regain some fan interest at a cost that should be very affordable. I am all in.

I argued this point a few months ago at the trade deadline. It's not a crowd pleaser...But I agree.

Tauchman is who I expect if he can be had in the 3.5-4.5 range. The first couple of months are the need.

I'd take his 2024 production... the rest... not so much.

These will be nice problems to have for a change.

Releivers who come in and don't walk the first two batters they face are very welcome IMO.

One size does not fit all. Some players will want to come here...some won't. I hope we are getting to the point where we take our best shot at those players we want and let the chips fall where they do. Just don't want to play with one hand tied behind our backs.

I'm rebutting the idea that all things being equal...EVERYONE...would pick those other places. If two people made the same amount of money and could live in either Denver or New York, don't tell me most people will pick New York. It's pretty obvious that the Dodgers and Yankees have advantages based on their owners' willingness to spend. Most athletes have large enough egos to think they can turn teams like ours into winners all by themselves.

If you think people making big money don't care about taxes, you are more naive than I think. When you get rich and move to New York, I'll be happy for you. Warren Buffett lives in Omaha, Nebraska, even though he could live anywhere in the world. Get it now. Not every baseball player wants to live in NY or LA. Some would prefer to play for the Chicago just because that's how they want to do it. You're insisting that everyone wants to avoid the White Sox is just bull.
