It was a seeing eye single for christ's sake. The guy has 23 saves in 24 chances. The only time he sucks is when he's NOT in a save situation.

Jesus, was anyone sickened by this umpiring crew as much as I was? Possibly the worst 4-some of the year with the exception of the Oak series at the beginning of the year. I could not believe some of the calls behind the plate today and on Friday. Horrendous. I know that the Bo Sox are World Champs and all but christ, aren't officials supposed to be unbiased?

Exactly. Half the time Manny would have thrown that to 2nd base. He's one of the laziest ball players in the game and one that you need to take advantage of.

Joe seems to be enjoying himself this year. After the HR the other day, you could just see how thankful he was to dig us out of the dumps. His D has been stellar (the piroutte on the ground tonight to almost get the out) and he's starting to put things together at the plate. Oh and did I mention he is clutch. JOE CREDE! /hawk

My best game of the year. Down 33-30 with less than a minute, i put the ball in Vince Young's hands...or should i say legs. He rushed for like 60 yards in 30 seconds on the drive. With 3 seconds left, i called a TO and brought out the special teams. My kicker barely got the ball over the the FG to send us to OT. I kept going with VY and scored on my 2nd play. Then after Oklahoma got to around the 15 my LB intercepted a pass ni the endzone and ran it to the 50 (i figured i'd give the TD a shot) to stun the OK crowd. Beauty.

Valentin hits about .215. Joe at least hits mid 240s. That was his first error in FIFTY games. FIFTY. That's like our current lead in the division times five. Hang on. The ship aint sinking yet.
