This is your opinion but it is in no way factual. The lack of goals actually increases the tension of the game. When your team is only up a goal, every opposition attack becomes worrisome. When your team is chasing a goal the desire to score becomes fanatical. There are all types of different ways to attack in the sport and understanding those philosophies and tactics really changes the way you see it. Anyway, 33million people watched last night. The Prem gets about 500k-1.5m viewers every weekend at 9am. For reference, Sunday Night Baseball on ESPN averaged around 2m. The game is popular and not just with grade schoolers.
