  2. QUOTE(crede24 @ Jan 17, 2005 -> 09:13 PM) Can you change my name to VenomSox Wow that's an awesome name to have on a Sox board. He's got the matching colors and everything! Do you know if it's true that Venom's going to be the next villian in Spiderman 3?
  3. QUOTE(Palehosefan @ Jan 17, 2005 -> 09:13 PM) Not sure what you mean by that, if you are insinuating that Ben isn't a very good QB. But Ben struggled big time in his first playoff game as a 22 year old, its not the end of the world. Thankfully the Pitt D stepped up big time and didn't allow a TD. Now its time for Ben to step it up again and join the defense and running game that gave Pitt the win last week by their chins. Troy Polamalu is as good of a safety as their is in the NFL and has been on fire lately with interceptions and great play against the run. It will be interesting to see if he can get one from Brady also. Could come down to whether Teddy Bruski or Troy Polamalu make more plays for their defenses. Should be a great game, I can't wait. Brady is going to teach Big Ben a lesson.

  5. QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Jan 17, 2005 -> 08:15 PM) I rest my case. double
  6. I watched a docudrama last night called The Hamburg Cell. It was a very good non-political telling of the life if the 9/11 hijackers. Gives you some great insight into what these people were like, and how they ended up doing what they were doing. Also watched The Eye. Another very good Asian horror movie that just comes up short of greatness. Also another of the super long list of Asian movies being re-made in America.
  7. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Jan 17, 2005 -> 07:52 PM) I rest my case.
  8. 2 people picking the Steelers and yet only one vote?
  9. I'd love to see the Falcons get to the Super Bowl being my favorite team and all. But I think the Eagles may have more will, seeing how they've lost this game a bunch of times before.
  10. I will be very surprised if the Steelers win this one. Just look at the QB comparison Brady vs. Roethlisberger! Pats should win this one and will!
  11. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Jan 17, 2005 -> 07:39 PM) Every time I watch some asshole on TV talk about how the president f***ed up this or should have done that I think to myself "Why SHOULD he reach out to the other side?" The truth is that the left hates Bush so much that it doesn't make any difference what he does, they'll just hate him more. Better to just bury them so deep in the minority that their shrill voices don't sound quite so annoying. This simply isn't true and I could only provide proof if Bush did anything to change our opinions.
  12. QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Jan 17, 2005 -> 07:36 PM) Go right ahead, but remember that the reason your side lost the last election is because the best platform you could come up with was "Bush sucks, elect me". People would much rather vote FOR something rather than AGAINST something. Well that's their job not mine.
  13. QUOTE(CubKilla @ Jan 17, 2005 -> 02:01 PM) I know because those that hate Bush will find any reason to rip on the guy. Nothing he could possibly do will ever be enough or good enough for them. It's not a stretch by any means to assume how Bush's detractors would react if a post-09/11 terrorist attack is averted. They'd immediately begin to pick everything apart..... GUARANTEED! It wouldn't be enough that a terrorist attack was averted. They'd immediately embark on a quest to prove Bush is incompetent. BOOK IT! That's bulls*** and I don't know how to put it in any simpler terms... As long as the administration keeps up with their s***, so will I. :finger

  16. QUOTE(YASNY @ Jan 16, 2005 -> 09:48 AM) You know what people? ... The American people picked the person they thought was the best man for the job of POTUS. Get over it. No they didn't pick Bush because he would be the best president they picked him because they thought he had the best morals. f***ing ridiculous
