What is wrong with the world?
Everyone should have gone and seen the re-release of Mystic River. It's a wonderful movie. It actually made more this weekend than last, must have somthing to do with all the awards its getting and getting nominated for.

Free Agents Remaining
Should we have any interest in Garrett Stephenson?

Oscar nominees are out
Well the Kill Bill volume 2 trailer on the internet contains no spoilers. I believe that most of the trailer won't even be in the movie.

Oscar nominees are out
Here's hoping Kill Bill volume 2 will continue to kick ass and possibly even exceed the first volume. By the way I don't really understand the big deal with the Evil Dead series. I saw the first one the other day and it was no big deal. The gore was quite good and it was quite a groundbreaking movie, but I just couldn't like it because of the terrible terrible acting. But many people love the series so I guess it's just me. What I'd like is for someone to explain to me why it has been such a successful bunch of movies.

15 relievers vying for 6 spots
-Is Meaux really a left hander? I could have sworn he was a righty. -I believe the White Sox organization sees more of a future for Adkins in the pen than as a starter.

Butterfly Effect
The nudity and violence isn't worth paying for to see if that's the only thing you are looking for. There are other movies out these days that do the whole violence and or nudity thing much better.

Butterfly Effect
Saw it yesterday guys and it was a good story and kept me interested. But Ashton Kutcher came nowhere near pulling of the role. This was supposed to be a serious movie and Ashton couldn't create a character who seemed to care or be serious. I don't think he has the ability right now to create a completely different role from the one he usually plays. One scene where he spends time in a prison is terribly performed by Kutcher. It seems almost as if Kutcher was trying to turn this movie into a comedy. Nowhere near the calibre of a Donnie Darko film but nonetheless not a complete failure. 6/10

Sox sign 8 minor leaguers
After teams release their list of non-roster invitees do they ever still sign players to minor league contracts and invite them to camp? I can't remember what the did in past years.

Who will win the battle for the 5th spot?
How bout Robert Person #4 and Jon Rauch #5. I believe Schohawk is better off in the bullpen, not to mention he's cheaper there.

Couple sues Wal-Mart
Walmart deserves to get screwed, but suing over that is ridiculous. Only in America!

Sox with a potential good bullpen
Campos was selected by the Sox in the minor league Rule V draft. He had a very impressive season in the Mexican league and did well in a playoff start matching Elmer Dessens of the Arizona Diamondbacks. It is possible that he'll get an invite to spring training by the Sox.

Sox with a potential good bullpen
I really don't think there are many pitchers that can say they have never had some shoulder or arm problems in the past. There were never any serious problems with his shoulder either.
-
Sox with a potential good bullpen
Arnaldo Munoz has a pretty decent shot at being the 3rd lefty out of the bullpen behind Marte and Wunsch, but that's probably only if Schoeneweis is in the rotation .

Two more pitchers available
Oh I didn't realize he was that old, thanks bigred.

Two more pitchers available
Rotoworld mentions that Pete Walker will likely pass through waivers and return to the Blue Jays. I don't understand why teams wouldn't take a chance on Pete Walker. He had a very solid 2002 where he became quite the nice surprise starter. Why wouldn't we take a chance on him? Or anyone else for that matter?
