Hizbollah mortar hits UN position
QUOTE(EvilMonkey @ Aug 7, 2006 -> 09:15 PM) Geeze, enough with the nitpicking already. Do you get the point, or just feel like being a nitpicking ass? Why no outrage over the latest UN position to be hit? Because Kofi Annan is actively campaigning for the destruction of Isreal. Duh!

QUOTE(Cknolls @ Aug 3, 2006 -> 12:31 PM) Still waiting for the MODERATE muslims to come out and denounce this statement. Over/under on that happening? Umm, well, you're certainly won't hear about it.

Middle East conflict
QUOTE(WCSox @ Jul 31, 2006 -> 06:03 PM) Ummm, that makes absolutely no sense, given that a slew of nations denounced the 9/11 attacks and the Madrid and London bombings. It makes even less sense with regard to the Arab world, where popular opinion casts Hezbollah as a legitimate resistance force and not a terrorist organization. My point is that pretty much every respected nation has condemned Hezbollah's original agression. There's no need to have say Canada condemn Hezbollah everytime they launch a missile. Within the Arab world there's a whole other slew of forces at work.

Middle East conflict
QUOTE(WCSox @ Jul 31, 2006 -> 01:17 PM) A Hezbollah missile went right through the roof on a train station in Haifa in the middle of the morning rush hour, yet strangely there was no internatinoal condemnation of Hezbollah for targeting Israeli cititzens. Ummm, it's pretty obvious that countries aren't expected to waste their time denouncing terrorist activities.

Middle East conflict
QUOTE(samclemens @ Jul 13, 2006 -> 06:17 PM) by "a lot of people" are you referring to the iranian government, which funds hezbollah, who are terrorists, or are you just referring to the hezbollah installments the israelis are attacking right now to get back kidnapped soldiers? and how is hezbollah not a terrorist organization? Huh? There are people in Iran... you know... they go to work everyday. Those people...

No North Korea thread???
QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jul 12, 2006 -> 08:20 PM) Not as much as a hit on Japan, SK, China, the US etc... Well then why not just take it out before it has that chance? You think North Korea would invade the South over one missile being blown to s***. I'm just parroting those Clinton-era Democrats that were and are urging action by the way.

No North Korea thread???
QUOTE(YASNY @ Jul 12, 2006 -> 11:56 AM) We should park a carrier in international waters off of Korea and shoot down every missile that they launch. Wouldn't a miss be a major embarassment?

QUOTE(Brian @ Jul 8, 2006 -> 09:41 PM) Saw Superman a few days ago and was highly disappointed. Just bland, nothing too exciting. Not too mention some dude was in the row in front of me and had his phone on and it rang 3 seperate times and of course the dips*** answers and talks. Wanted to wrap a steel chair around his head. Try watching it with kids getting wasted one row ahead of you. Cursing, smell of liquour, spilling of liquor, standing and sitting etc.

NYC tunnel bombing plot uncovered
QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Jul 8, 2006 -> 01:02 AM) Ok so we have the mainstream media versus an "alternative news" website which quotes the infamous "unnamed sources" within the CIA. I think you can tell which way the scales of who I believe are tipping. I'll admit that some website getting CIA sources is pretty amazing and/or suspicious but these cases are constantly overblown. A bunch of idiots in Miama get arrested for being... idiots, and its plastered all over the news. Or in Canada recently, headlines about plans to behead the Prime Minister and take the House of Commons hostage. A few days later it turns out the bozos didn't know enough about the area and gave up on that plan early on. The timing is always curious but this is probably more of a, provocative terrorism headlines sell idea.
