French Intel: CIA Met With Osama 2 Months Pre 9/11
KipWellsFan replied to KipWellsFan's topic in The Filibuster
QUOTE(minors @ Feb 23, 2006 -> 11:58 PM) I can't believe I am hearing French support and the lame argument that they supported us in the revolution yeah that was 230 years ago!! and they only did that to oppose the British. I also think we have more than repaid them for that with saving them from Hitler. No, you got it all wrong, they are eternally indebted to Stalinists for the Hitler thing. -

House votes to withhold UN dues unless they reform

QUOTE(samclemens @ Feb 19, 2006 -> 09:09 AM) that corrupt SOB needs to be tried for his involvement in oil-for-food with saddam, as well as his son. the UN isnt going to do anything with that bastard at the helm. hes just an obstructionist at this point. is anyone still going to say that bolton's not the man for the job as UN ambassador to the UN? i love that hes shaking things up and telling it like it is. This has nothing to do with Bolton doing anything to reform the UN. Annan's term's just about up and Bolton just started talks on who'll be the replacement.

Hehe Elephant, watch Gerry by Gus Van Sant. Instead of kids walking around in halls it's Matt Damon and Casey Affleck walking around in a desert for almost 2 hours. Elephant is The Matrix in comparison.

For maximum deterrent effect there must be maximum penalty and I'm not just talking about death, I'm talking about inflicting maximum pain without actually killing the person, over and over again for the rest of their lives. I mean if you're going to try and deter and don't care about the value of human life or potential for change in a person you might as well go full-bore and not pussy out with some weak ass injection.

I love the "lets pretend we're angry" machine. Oh my god what Al Gore said is reprehensible!! Wake up people, he didn't say s***! Of course the Wall Street Journal opinion piece didn't include that quote, but of course it included a remarkably credible piece from a blogger named TigerHawk. What the f***. When Bill O'Reilly jumps on something you know it's usually a bunch of crap.

QUOTE(kapkomet @ Feb 14, 2006 -> 07:03 PM) They want him to be drunk so bad they can taste it. And you know what else? I almost think the f***ing media wants this guy to die. Go ahead, flame me, but the way these f***ers are pressing on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... just because some little ass newspaper found out first. OMG!!! CONSPIRACY! GMAFB. This discussion is so f***ed up. Naawwwww, they'd rather see him forced to resign. On the subject of the cover up, I don't know what the big deal is. Governments always try to cover up bad news.

Lawrence O'Donnell: Was Cheney Drunk? http://news.yahoo.com/s/huffpost/20060214/...wN5bnN1YmNhdA-- You may remember O'Donnell for being the first to name Rove as source for Matt Cooper's TIME story.
