NBA draft thread
I like the picks -- I think they are going more of the "Oakland A's" approach... Take a look at the draft. 1. HS kid -- Unproven talent -- High Upside 2. College "player of the Year" -- Health questions, Offensive questions 3. College kid -- Not the most Flashy payer in the world but good all-around player 4. HS Kid -- Strength questions, shooting abilty questions -- "years away from contributing" --typical clippers pick. 7. College Kid -- Not the best player in the draft, but versatile. Good all-around payer. In the past the bulls were drafting on how players projected. This year it looks like they are drafting proven commodities who they know can play and can play now.

Here's a novel Idea -- Stop having Iowa State players on your roster...- Koch's FLA debut
Final line for Koch... 1IP 2H 2BB 1ER 32Pitches-17strikes-- Bases loaded twice. Got out of the inning without to much damage on a great 'heads up' play by A-gone.- Koch's FLA debut
Koch is pitching for the Fish in mop-up duty right now.... Tune to TBS 2H 1BB .1IP so far -- Bases loaded 1 out.- Ashlee Simpson
- Its a Nice Win, But There are still a few Problems
He would only need to make 2 starts before the ASB. and the first game we'd need him after the break would be July 19. I think he will probably stick with the team, but move to the pen after a deal is made.- NBA draft thread
The NBA draft is starting to become as big of a crapshoot as the MLB draft. I would stay away from HS players as much as possible. Use the Oakland A's philosophy. There's going to be Ronald Murrays in the draft(jameer Nelsons),guys who are passed over for kids from bigger schools etc., but how many HS'ers are going to come from late in the draft and make an impact? NONE.- NBA draft thread
No they've actually started drafting third graders.- The Official Carlos Beltran Traded Thread
http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=1828880- Its a Nice Win, But There are still a few Problems
He's shown me something in his last three starts... the two after he got sent back down he went deep into the games, and todays start he was able to escape with minimal damage. He was leading the IL in ERA so it shouldn't come as a complete surprise that he can actually pitch a little bit.- NBA draft thread
Looks like Nelson who was picked by Denver @19 is gonna be shipped to DBAHO's magic, for one or two second round picks. - NBA draft thread
