And that’s the craziest Winner of the year!
South Side Hit Men replied to Chicago White Sox's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Well, that has happened a few times when I posted a game thread comment in a non game thread inadvertently. The deleted post would have not been germane to said thread, similar to the post I’ve quoted. But thank you for your service. -

Well we can read your posts as well, and Hahn’s involvement is responsible for both instances of the Sox using openers. -

Cal, you’ve always been full of s%*#, and always will be. Tony, Cairo and Katz have been in baseball over a half century, with absolutely zero use or advocation of an opener. Hahn has been reported to be involved in two lineup decisions, both involved openers and both blew up in his pathetic cowardly face. Them there are the facts, believe what you want to believe. -
Don’t forget Steak, he has been sizzling and likely the #2 behind Cease. Think Cueto or Kopech works out of the bullpen in the playoffs, depending on Kopech’s health.

I’m looking for quality everyday players over platoon guys / LH with flaws. Sheets is not a major league starter, but they are forcing it because he hits LH. Pollock was also supposed to hit RHP, but he is old, expensive and can’t hit anybody (or play RF as Hahn crowed about post trade). He is the typical Hahn acquisition. Bring in quality players who can hit and field, period. Seems to work for RH heavy Toronto. They have five hitters at 2.7 - 3.8 bWAR, with another five at 1.3 - 2.2. The Sox have two (Abreu and Robert) and two (Harrison and Anderson), respectively.

Grandal should only catch Lynn and Cueto at this point, and not DH on off days. Agree he should drop as well in the order. Zavala 153 ABs 0.9 bWAR Grandal 264 ABs -0.7 bWAR Wish Hahn would have kept McGwire as well, far more valuable than Diekman. -
So I assume Cairo blasted Elvus in the postgame, right?

Sox should have done the same when news of Tony’s latest known DUI broke. Hopefully Jerry will leave Tony behind, never to return to 35th and Shields. -

The solution is Vaughn DH/1B in 2023, Sheets in AAA or traded, LH RF signed (Conforto) or if Colas is ready, promotion in May. Still want Abreu back at 1B on a reasonable 1 year plus option deal if he wants to continue playing. No matter what happens, Sheets should not be on the active roster beyond a rash of injuries in 2023, and neither Vaughn or Sheets should be allowed to own, let alone wear, an OF glove as a member of the White Sox.

It may be hard for Lance to find steak post game, even beyond Seattle's Autonomous Zone, between the vegans in charge and the Labor Day Holiday. -

Glad Tony was around to teach him discipline. No manager should condone an opposing team hitting their player, especially for something is absurd as "the unwritten rules". 2007 - "This will never happen again". 2020 - "Oops. I did it again". -
