And that only with no men on. They threw him fastballs for 3 three run homers and one two run homer.

Who is accountable for letting Salvy hit 4 homers in 3 games this series? When are we going to learn and adjust?. He had to be intentionally walked in the first. Set up a double play and avoid a potential 3 run homer, which became a reality.

On top of his terrible D, he takes a third strike KO in his first at bat. Hope Engel gets back in soon, and we don’t see Goodwin starting again, regardless of matchups.

They have the confidence that we have give them, that they can beat us. Give up 4 homers to Salvy in 3 games shows them that we are stupid and beatable.

The issue is not to throw him a fastball. If Cease cannot throw him anything else then you must walk him in that situation. This is ridiculous this guy alone has hit 4 homers against the Sox in this series, three of them 3 run homers. Give him the Barry Bonds treatment. TLR intentionally walked Nelson Cruz to load the bases with men on first and second, but not Salvy with men on second and third. When are we going to adjust, we look like the most stubborn and stupid team around.

No surprise. He gets exposed in almost every game.

Another Sunday lineup and this time on a Sunday. Mendick, Zavala , Sheets and Goodwin all at the same is worrisome, particularly on D.

Cesar is an out dressed as a baseball player.

The bat drop scares them to death.

You did not have to be a rocket scientist to figure that out. Our pitch selection on the 2 Salvyhomers was brutal. And they were no solos, they were of the Earl Weaver 3 run variety. Whoever called for the fastball to Salvy should be reprimanded or worse.

He did not slide. Joe was telling to slide and he tried to get in standing up. If he slides he is probably safe. Awful running regardless. You don’t make the 3 rd out at 3 rd particularly with Abreu coming up. Send him back to the minors.

Mendick belongs in the minor leagues.

I think the problem with our flame thrower relievers like Kopech and Hendriks is that they think they can blow their 97+ mph fast ball by anyone. But that is not the case against elite hitters like Salvy, Jose Ramirez, Aaron Judge, and others that can hit those fastballs a long way.

Kopech for sure. He has much better stuff than DK.

Needed to pinch hit Sheets for Vaughn. We do not adjust well to circumstances. We need to stay away from Vaughn with RISP in game situations. It is like sticking with Keuchel in game situations, when we know something bad is coming. Not only he is not hitting, but he won’t take a walk. He swung at 2 balls on 3-2 which wouldhaveload3d the bases.

Who is making these terrible calls of fastballs to Salvy?. The bench, the catcher or the pitcher? Someone needs to be accountable and TLR needs to be sure that we don’t do this again with Salby, Jose Ramirez and other Sox killers.

Like I mentioned on earlier comment don’t let Salvy beat you,not once but now twice - 6RBIs. Do we ever adjust? And another 3 run rally with 2 outs and no one on.

He gets very good jumps on the ball. What a difference compared to Goodwin. Goodwin will be unwatchable in CF after Luis’s majestic performances.

He is not called the Panther for nothing. Agile and deadly.

The old adage comes back to haunt us. “Don’t let Salvy beat you”. It has happened too often In the past.
