It was satisfying to see the opposing manager doing a worse job than TLR (sticking with Goodwin again) tonight, not challenging two possible outs and intentionally walking Abreu ahead of Eloy’s Moonshot.

He hit 20 homers at Charlotte in 2019.... maybe he bottled some of that.

Sheets homer today reminded me of last night TLR blunder of hitting Goodwin in the 9th instead of Sheets. Today Goodwin strikes out with a man on 3 rd and1 out, and fails to catch Benintendi’s drive and the bloop. Stoney called out Goodwin as not a good CF. Can’t wait until Goodwin grabs some permanent bench. Don’t know what TLR is waiting for. Whatever offense he can provide doesn’t makeup for his horrible D.

More double plays. Will need to hit and run more and take our chances that way. Open some holes in the infield. These DPs are rally killers. We need to adjust.

Goodwin has been horrible. Prefer Hamilton in CF even against righties. His D in CF has cost us in many games. Heists best a AAA player.

We should start worrying about them more than the Indians.

I don’t think Sheets is capable of hitting a ball as soft as Goodwin did to end the game.

Because we had a more dangerous lefty in Sheets also available.
