Both Heuer and Crochet looked better tonight than in recent appearances. It is the best takeaway tonight. Our offense has been more of a problem lately than the relievers.

Not surprised to see Jake go. League had learnt how to pitch him with sliders and other breaking pitches, which he could not hit. He needs to build on more discipline at the plate.

The main problem with Goodwin is poor defense particularly in CF, not so much his hitting.

He should get more reps hitting breaking pitches or he is not going to make it in the majors.
