Chick Mercedes

I think we’ll look back at this series and say it was the one that prompted Hahn to make a decision to be a buyer. This feels like a bubble popping.

Theyre gonna freak when the Sox try to do a hybrid rebuild every cycle like the Devil Rays. Rays, whatever. I'd be happy however if they took one of the big salaries they don't want to pay for a given player, and invest it in some real scouting infrastructure and minors for internationals. That’s going to be the test if it works or not.

Rodon SHDH

This offense is kind of vulnerable at times for obvious reasons. But poor Rodon. They automatically go into the tank for him every time

Outlawing the spitball will be an interesting new chapter. Who shakes out of the trees.

They don’t. Kelly is it, and they would be selling too low right now. All they have are guys like Lambert and Stiever.

Spider Tacked

National media….*Yawn* ?

I wonder if he is on the spitballer list of guys that suddenly increased spin rate. Rodon too… Hopefully these guys can maintain

What’s up with that Cuban kid they signed for a couple million? His defense was said to be ready before they signed him

They don’t just get regular injuries either, they get catastrophic injuries to key players

Indians about to win

Probably a combination pitchers found the holes in his swing, plus he didn’t know its not that easy and is in his own world of self doubt now

Just checked in on this game. Holy crap Eaton is backing up Grandal ahead of Vaughn.

So, I have seen this written in the Daily Herald a number of times now. “Carlos Rodón” What is that?

I think Goodwin's position of CF makes him the play with Vaughn and Engel over Eaton.

Fair enough ?

It was a perfect opportunity to let him bring it home in the 9th. Development and winning the game don't have to be mutually exclusive. Just because Hendricks was up doesn’t mean he has to pitch.

Nothing says you gotta play him when the situation changes.

Leave him warm

Kinda don’t think this is necessarily a Hendricks situation. Crochet was good to finish

Keep watching Yoan. Gotta swing to ring.

Percentages are good options to lean on when you finally have a lil flexibility

I hope Yoan was watching. Not that 2 outs is the same as a no out situation. But bloody swing the bat.

JAG righty. Gameplan
