5/22 Sox @NYY 12:05 pm
I think the standard margin of calling off the hounds is about 10 runs and a position pitcher on the mound. Everyone has been telling the Twins to stop the Sox instead of complaining. I think we’ve got to be consistent.

Wow. Said in the wake of a Yerminator megatwitter controversy.

As I was saying earlier, he lost the edge mentally on ump calls right before the doubles, the walk turned his mind. He always looks as if he is searching for his happy place on the mound. Sometimes he retreats to the dark side.

Said in response to a Vaughn comment about him against righties, in a thread where other people want to die.

We had run into some beat able pitchers before this series , but the lineup isn’t able to manufacture runs very well. I think the playoffs could be disappointing when that consistent pitching beats them down. Whoever they put in the outfield in the future needs speed, especially on the bases. Hopefully it is Cespedes.

Watching Cease on the bump he lost the edge mentally before those back to back doubles. The walk ate him up right before it all started.

I just know we are losing all tie games that make it to the 9th. That is all.

The TLR Manager Thread
Good to have TA step up and defend the squad in the absence of leadership from the manager to set the record straight. This was a disgrace, and to read between the lines, the players look at TLR with disappointment.

The TLR Manager Thread
How was he right? He said something wasn’t suspicious yet the league suspended the Twins pitcher. Seems like he was directly contradicted

Right?

Well, see who would be cut first from the team if they had to choose. Yermin or TLR?

Well, it may not be suspicious to our team protector. But thankfully the league has other ideas https://apnews.com/article/mn-state-wire-los-angeles-angels-minnesota-twins-chicago-white-sox-mlb-aea698b5f28e0c07c3425cd64da0166d

Abreu to Miss Twins Series - Ankle Inflammation
IIRC, he was having chronic ankle stuff earlier in his career with the Sox.

His ERA looks good. But the blown saves haven’t. Im not sure how comparable he has been across the league, but its all about being clutch.

Ahh well. You know. Sheets would be a rookie. We dont know what he brings to the table, but that sounds questionable because odds are he still has to learn to hit in the bigs as well. That’s a lot to ask- Addressing the OF shortage (Robert Injury Spinoff)
Some older kid named Granite is supposedly raking in Birmingham. Was in the show once.- Addressing the OF shortage (Robert Injury Spinoff)
Well the scales might be balanced at this point, but you put 2 first basemen in the corners and I think the thing eventually collapses. And again you should just stick Mercedes out there if you are implementing this line of strategy. Sure, Gonzales, go for it. Wouldn’t mind Rutherford either. Its never gonna be ideal, but…. Yeah, if imperfect plugs are being used, at least let’s get a real outfielder imo.- Addressing the OF shortage (Robert Injury Spinoff)
I get that Sheets potentially hits. But I thought the idea was to get away from first baseman and DHs in the outfield? I mean, hell, if we’re going down that road…. just stick Mercedes out there and call it a day.- Chicago White Sox vs Kansas City Royals 5/16/21 GT
Nothing to do with this topic, but suddenly Rodon is Rodon again, so I am sad today ?- 5/15: Kansas City @ Chicago White Sox 6:10 CDT

I forget who was commenting on the Score, but they said his changeup was not “parachuting in” the way it was last year and prior. And also the league hitters are sitting on it and have adjusted. He has little room for error with his stuff too. - Addressing the OF shortage (Robert Injury Spinoff)
