I think everyone is actually comfortable. Too comfortable. Which is not to say that everyone should be fired and traded. It means there is a very relaxed atmosphere on the SS. And I don’t believe anyone has a reason to worry about their places in the lineup or on the team. That’s a breeding ground for complacency. TA being the most recent example

I think this team is in a bad headspace. Chirping at media is a symptom. And they are in a bad approach to the game. Walks at the bottom of the league, yet don’t hit. Manager has crazy lineups. No accountability. Jerry Reinsdorf is enabling it all, and the dysfunction will continue with or without the hitting coach. There has to be competent leadership that know what to do, and that’s not going to get fixed apparently

When a pitcher just knows how to pitch like Cueto, much different look than stuff guys like Velasquez

The Sox will come around to a certain extent. But to a certain extent, the FO was very overconfident in the offseason. Arguably the signs were there for them not to be.

First of all, the FO fucked up the off-season.
