Is something wrong with Graveman?

This bullpen has been so good lately from front to back.

I'm guessing Foster has the 8th.

Couldn't leave well enough alone.

I thought they just moved one of the other guys behind home plate. Are they flying someone up from NY or something?

Only on Soxtalk do we get complaints about McGuire playing too much and Grandal being bad at throwing runners out in the same game thread.

Might have worked out if he bunted it like he was bunting for a hit and pushed it past the pitcher but he squared up like a sac bunt.

Bummer, Hendriks and probably Lopez all unavailable so they really need him to go 5.

An actual hit to the outfield with a RISP.

Bunting with Leury on deck is not exactly how I'd draw it up but let's see what happens.

Someone from the AL East is going to win the CY because they'll get to face Boston and Baltimore a bunch of times.

I'm honestly wondering if switch hitters should be facing Keuchel from the left side.

They're in a stretch of playing 18 games in 17 days, they're scoring < 4 runs a game, Dallas is giving up > 4 runs a start, so it's the perfect time to give guys a day off.

Boston hitters up there looking for walks. Not at all interested in swinging.

Pregame show on Peacock has been 95% about Red Sox.

Peak Frank Thomas had a 7 year run where he averaged an OPS+ of 183. If Luis Robert reaches that mark in even one season where he plays 125+ games that would be remarkable. That said, Robert's defensive value gives him a chance to be a more valuable player than Frank in his prime.

I don't watch much basketball, but I love him on college football. Wish he'd take over for Mike Tirico on ND games when he moves to NFL games.

Wait, -132 for the Sox to score first? That would imply that Boston is +115 or so and that seems like easy money.

I didn't see a horse racing thread in the sports section and didn't want to start one just for this but while we were watching the improbable comeback by the Sox, a last-minute entry, 80-1 longshot won the Kentucky Derby. If you picked all four of the top finishers correctly in order, that paid over 300K to 1.

Sox have won 5 in a row, while scoring a total of 17 runs.

It's too bad there weren't any elite closers available via trade.

When Engel is up with a runner on first, he should be trying to push a bunt past the pitcher on the right side.
