I just need a break from this team right now. The front office made bad decisions in the offseason The manager has made bad decisions during the season It's cold and the ball is dead Yet at the end of the day, this lineup minus Vaughn and TA is downright miserable. None of the different decisions by the front office or the manager we would have preferred would have fixed this. These guys have to start hitting, and they need to do it soon.

Eliminate all the QB, RB, TE, LB from your best available list and draft the top guy left on the list for rounds 2-3.

Until we all make a bigger deal out of it, those parties will continue to get their way. It's time for things to change. Carjackings are starting to happen more and more during daylight hours and in better neighborhoods. Maybe that will start to tip the scales a bit.

Know who that hurts most? Teams full of guys who don't take walks or hit for a high average.

Crime and drugs are draining our resources, and forgiving student loans doesn't make even a small dent in this. This is pandering to young voters. Jim Crow, Redlining, etc, have created a large underclass in our cities. Kids are turning to gangs, drugs and crime long before taking out student loans is even an option. Lets take the billions that that we're talking about using to forgive student loan debt and invest it into our most vulnerable kids, most of whom are in cities. Let's invest in their education and safety, and do whatever it takes to provide them more appealing opportunities than jacking cars at age 14. Reduce student loan interest to zero? Fine. Increase the repayment period from 10 to 15 years? Great. But let's invest the bulk of the money where it's most needed. Kids in Engelwood should have the same resources and opportunities as kids in New Trier.

vs RHP, it's gonna have to be Vaughn in LF and Sheets at DH because you can't afford to leave either of them out of the lineup. vs LHP Vaughn needs to be at DH with Pollock in LF and Engel in RF. When Moncada is back Burger is sent to AAA so he can play every day.

Abreu is scheduled to be the ghost runner. Instead of putting Engel in for Sheets, why not put Engel in for Abreu and move Sheets to 1B? Seems like anybody not drunk could figure that out.
