  1. Man, four hits won't cut it. So inept. Let's face it, we have a great highlight film ready to be made of Vaughn homers, Robert, Eloy, BurgerKing,, but they hit them so infrequently. ... Let's face it. They all once in a long while tee off on the baseball. But their consistency is nada. If those four get consistent someday, look out. Not sure if they are valuable prospects or not, but again Vaughn's homer tonight was majestic. Other than that, crud. What's with the starting pitcher going 4? Was he dogbleep? Pitch count was still under 90. Our starters by the way throw way too many pitches. Another trouble spot. We do stink. Unloveable bad team.
  2. No offense to baseball, but do any of you think the sport is soon to be extinct because of injuries? We've got zillions of players nobody's ever heard of just filling in for injuries players. So please answer, is baseball on the road to extinction? Other points to consider. ... -- Games are faster now which is good. -- No pitchers in this new modern era will ever make the Hall again. Too many injuries will keep the K totals out of Hall range, Nobody cares about W/L anymore or ERA, so there are virtually no more Hall of Fame candidates toeing the slab. -- No stolen base intrigue any more. Only Hall of Fame stat of interest will be HR hitters but careers are starting to die in early 30s so no longevity means no Hall of Fame. Without heroes ... is baseball dying? When will it officially be dead or at least irrlelevant? Peace out. All the Sox seemingly do is get hurt.
  3. Happy with the win and Eloy and Elvis. 32-43 is a ridiculously bad record; work on it Sox.
  4. AV looks like he has no fun playing baseball. Relax AV and show some of your natural talent. Another semi bust.
  5. Poor Remy. One good game he'll always remember.
  6. Sox stink, So they had the 10-game losing streak. This current stretch is also putrid. So Sox officially are dead. Two miserable losing stretches before July. Wow.
  7. Geez. Who made this Grifol guy Mr. Defensive. He hasn't earned that right. So far he's failed in all aspects of the game with the help of Hahn. Hitting: Sox reek. No desire to do anything but K or HR. Defense: LOL. Starting pitching: C. Relief: F. Leadership: Hard to quantify. Seems like a log on the bench. Give me RR or Ozzie please.
  8. Lopez's time is up in chicago. Get rid of him, please. Or make him a three batter guy. Isn't the new rule you have to face 3 batters if you come in? Don't be tempted to go longer. Three batters and out and throw almost all fastballs up high. He is a horrific pitcher, folks.
  9. Well, this was another bad loss. Thanx Lance for going 7. Reminded me of the good ol days of baseball. Remy goes 0-for-4. Yuk. Six hits won't do it. I wish Ozzie was the manager. At least he'd kick some bleep. As long as he wouldn't say outrageious POLITICAL stuff and keep it on the field he'd be awesome in 2023. But noooo he quit on the team so we can't ever hire him again. Well lemme tell u something pls. Pedro is ridiculously bad and Oz would be better. He just would. Even AJP would be much better. Get rid of this guy please. Let him be a scout and keep his MLB skipper salary but bye bye Pedro. hi Ozzeroo.
  10. Lopez is one hot mess on the mound. He's so bad I'm speechless.
  11. Devil's advocate would say that's wrong. Remillard did all the things the Sox regulars do not do and that's why we won. Possibility at least. It's like he came up and said, 'Bleep you guys I'll show you how to advance runners, bring them in and play winning baseball.'''
  12. I'm convinced. We need a catcher for the next rebuild so TA for this guy and one or two more Dodgers prospects or MLB players, preferably a lefty pitcher.
  13. George Bell pouted a lot but u are right not as much as Anderson appears to pout.
  14. Timmy probably really is hurt. I wonder if deep down he's dying to get traded. He doesn't seem like he's Mr. White Sox now and forever but I could be mistaken of course. Don't want to throw out uninformed opinions and I certainly am uninformed in what TA's goals are.
  15. OMG I love me some Remillard. A bunt hit?? Are you serious? I wonder the last White Sox bunt single before Remy. And game tying and game winning singles?? A player actually cares to do the things it takes to win? I realize his current minor league body of work is not so good but thanks Remy for the win today. And I'll credit the bullpen for somehow doing what they did today. Good job. Drink some beers tonight. -- It's almost as if Remy is an alien who watched the Sox from afar and stuck a middle finger to the MLB hitters by bunting beautifully and actually hitting important SINGLES. It's like this guy is a real baseball player.
  16. After watching the last couple games no way I can watch Sox baseball today. Another first for me. Pukeathon. That said I'm not saying Sox can't win today minus me. Just.Win,Baby. Sox need a W.
  17. Very good point. He has no defensive ability. Surprised teams don't bunt on him more. Oh wait, bunts don't exist anymore.
  18. That's the stat of the night. Mind boggling. I can't believe I wasted hours watching so many strikeouts. So fricking boring. Do teenagers still hate baseball or are they back? Can't imagine young peeps with the computer games give baseball a chance on a given night. Soooo boring.
  19. That first pitch was absolutely a cookie. Very surprised he didn't rip it.
  20. Big burger looked more like a fish sandwich. Whiff. Horrible loss. Insanely bad baseball by the Sox except again by the starting pitcher. Sox CANNOT play and win modern baseball. It's that simple. Gonna take years to fix this IF Jerry brings in new GM. If current front office stays may not be fixed for a long long time.
  21. Losing five of six and six of eight at this stage of season: Bye bye manager
  22. Embarrassing. Whiff.
  23. Our guys can't run that hard. Hammies. Our guys hustle like that does not end well.
  24. And Alan Bannister.
  25. i take it back; nice stretch; u out.
