Don't we have to trade for Manny? I think some are going to be upset when if and when it's Viciedo in the deal for a rental. We could be out of the race 2-3 days w/in Manny's arrival. The standings are that tenuous. Manny will enjoy playing out the string with the White Sox.

Who are we going to give the Dodgers in trade for this rental? That should be interesting. Flowers? Sale? Viciedo?

If he's hit that many significant bombs, then Jones is a moron for not at least making better contact sometimes to have his average be .250. At the least he could have had all of Kotsay's at bats throughout the year.

I agree he's contributed more than Kotsay and Linebrink and he's worth 500,000 and has hit some bombs. I think one was a walkoff if I recall or a game winner. I applaud him for the games he's helped us win. I like anybody who helps the team win on the day they help us win. Overall I just don't like him or his approach and hope he's playing for Washington next season along with Kotsay and Linebrink.
