Also I don't like Jones but he is 3-3. Get used to him playing a lot in coming weeks even after he hits No. 400 if he ever hits 400.
-
That's a cop out. He's our starting catcher. Oz isn't playing the "sit AJ against all lefties yet." He would have played tonight even if he was 0-12 versus Chen all time. AJ isn't being platooned.
-
Yeah the money backs you up. Rich guys like the Cavs' owner and Ozzie can say whatever they want because they are playing with the house's money. What can happen to them? Ozzie doesn't need the job; the Cavs' owner is a rich f*** who can say whatever he wants.
-
Nice job by Santos after Mark's excellence.
-
Ha AJ homered against Chen tonight. Fathom was freaking out that AJ was playing even though AJ is our starting catcher.
-
Are any of these 3 on WGN?
-
My point is your stats are great, but AJ is the starting catcher. If they want to strictly platoon, then they should have traded AJ because he's not a part time player right now. And like I said, this is Chen we are talking about. If we take care of business he could face more righties than lefties anyway. I haven't heard a word about platooning AJ so I don't understand why this is an issue.
-
AJP is our starting catcher. He's not being held out against all lefties. He's not at that level yet. Castro is a backup. Let me ask you: Why do you get so worked up over this? You obviously want AJP to sit against all lefties and you are a logical man. That is simply not occurring this season. Why does that obvious fact bother you so much? s*** if we knock out Chen, then AJP may actually face more righties than lefties tonight. But you act like this is some burning issue. Ozzie is not going to sit AJP against lefty starters except when he needs a day off. It's pretty obvious so WTF makes you obsess about it? As far as Jones. No I don't think that's on their minds. Kotsay, who is a lefty, sucks as well, so somebody's got to play. I also hate Jones so we agree there. And why do you think the Sox NEED to get Andruw 400 at home? That makes little sense. It's certainly not selling any more tickets. Nobody in their right mind gives a f*** about Jones.

The TV show was a horrible idea. Part of his legacy now is screwing Cleveland on national TV and using children as props. Bad bad bad, how many times can I write bad, idea. LeBron is one rich motherf***er and doesn't care, but this is a major part of who he is, his legacy, now. And the Cleveland owner is another rich prick moron. He needs to shut the f*** up as well. Losers? The Cleveland fans who didn't ask for any of this. But LeBron and the owner are BIG LOSERS in this. Not that they care. They got money to burn all night.
-
If LeBron picks Miami, I sure hope he doesn't say, "To Cleveland ... who knows? I could always finish my career there." That would be sooo egotistical and awful. I still say if he snubs Cleveland, it was dumb to do on an hour-long TV extravaganza. If he was picking Cleveland, it'd be fine. Really insensitive to f*** that city over on TV like that. Bron should just tell the truth and say he picked Miami cause of the chicks and it's best party town in the league.
-
That's crazy. All those comments by Kenny saying, "It's early," seemed dumb but were true. Incredible pitching. With Putz, Thornton and Jenks throwing well ... it's just too bad Peavy went down. Like somebody said, the team appears flawed, but it keeps winning. I'd like to credit the owner for not panicking and firing the manager, the players for not cheking it in and KW for not panicking and making some bad trades. That said, we do need 2 bats (don't we?) and we need another starter (Jake was really good of late). Try to win 2 of 3 versus KC, White Sox. Just do it.
-
Great win. Freddy, many others overcome the 5 errors. Can we possibly win all four? Or will it be like the final game of the Cub series in the Cell? Let's sweep.
-
I think he has talent. The guys in the chat room during the game don't like Tank though. If he truly is only 21 ... wow. Can you be taught a tiny bit of plate discipline? I don't think he'll draw more than 10 walks in 500 at bats. I can't imagine him EVER walking.
-
Sorry. My bad again.
-
I thought you were saying I was a moron.
-
Yes you've proven your knowledge of baseball is so much greater than mine. You know it all. I already have given you credit for that. Congratulations on knowing so much more baseball than me. You don't know how long I played the game. You don't know s*** about my knowledge of the game compared to your esteemed knowledge.
-
Been listening to Rongey's show on the internet. Good stuff. He's so reasonable with many morons calling in. What is your take on Jake? Considering his injuries, do you think he's a bust in Chicago? The bang for the buck and all that? If KW had it to do over again, would he have made the deal?
-
What are you talking about? You agree he's staying in Cleveland but don't like my reasons? What are your reasons then. Mine are .. he'll make just as much money in Cleveland. He doesn't want to s*** on his hometown especially coming to rival Chicago. He'll be a hero forever WHEN the Cavs win it. And they will win it with him. I think you overestimate the Bulls talent as well.
-
Strange Sox ... why would he have a better chance to win it with the Bulls than Cleveland? Rose? You overestimate Rose. He's not going to s*** on his hometown and come to Chicago. It'd be less of a blow to pick NY or Miami but he's not going to do that either. He's still young. He has to win a title for Cleveland which hasn't won s*** in forever. He'll be remembered there forever as THE No. 1 hero of Cleveland. He certainly isn't going to go to CHicago where the Bulls won a ton of titles with Jordan. No way in hell he comes to Chicago. People act like Cleveland had a s***ty record. Uh Cleveland had a great record before choking.
-
Strangesox, if it affects players negatively then agents should forbid their players from competing in the Derby or they should get rid of it completely. Or make it a 5 million dollar first place prize money through some sponsor so it's worth having a s*** second half. I just can't believe a f***ing home run derby screws up a hitter the whole second half. That is just too bizarre. Have any players made comments on how it screws them up?
-
I just think Chicago is last on his list. There's no reason to play for the Bulls. Michael Jordan is the best Bull ever. Case closed. He doesn't need to be totally hated by the people of Cleveland forever in becoming a Bull. They'd understand Miami better in that he'd be winning it all with Wade and Bosh unless they get hurt. He's going to make just as much or more money in Cleveland. He's not leaving Cleveland.
-
Cleveland is his home. He's not going to spurn Cleveland when he can make just as much or more money there than anywhere else. Money making potential? He's Tiger Woods pre scandal. He can make zillions anywhere. He's not going to leave Cleveland for New York. Chicago makes absolutely no sense. He'll be so hated.
-
Cleveland has everything he needs. New York makes no sense basketball wise. If he wants to win NOW it should be Miami for a couple years. But there's no way in hell Chicago has a chance. makes no sense for him to be a Bull. None.
-
Why would he leave Cleveland? He can make more money there and it'd be dumb to leave. I assume he approves of the new coach. It's Cleveland.
-
The Bulls tried but there's no way he ever was coming to Chicago. Michael Jordan is Chicago. He's staying in Cleveland for two more years, then he'll do this again. He wouldn't do a big TV thing if it wasn't Cleveland. It's too much a snub to his home state to do that to Cleveland.
