7/10 - Royals. White Sox.
This is the kind of night you want the old long ball White Sox. Banny is capable of giving up bomb after bomb. Funny earlier in the year some people, not saying you, said Lexi was an awful guy at No. 2.

How come Juan never gets a day off? Everybody else does. Juan and Omar have no pop in their bats.

Bummer. How did he get on?

Congrats to you guys who voted a lot. He deserves it so much.

Would be nice to hit this hack. Brian Bannister isn't very good.

Thank you so much for your posts. You are an awesome poster.

July White Sox Catch-All Thread
That is amazing to look at when you post it like that. Is this the greatest stretch in Sox history?

Not me. I want Beckham. I do want Viciedo in every day however.

Under The Radar Bats
It's funny because I've disagreed with hiim a lot, but I understood this post fine. I thought it meant he was intrigued by the Ibanez move. I didn't think it was a bad response where he was giving his OK or not. I just thought he was intrigued by the Ibanez deal. I do think Linebrink is that bad, however, that nobody wants any part of him.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!
Do we have another of those obvious September road trips from hell like last year's NY, Boston thing? Man, Detroit is hot now, too. I have to say, on paper, you've got to love our pitching over Detroit and Minnie. But a lot will be up to Hudson. Can he excel?

7/9 - KC Royals @ ChiSox
Good deal. Hopefully he will get red hot. If he got hot, he might not stop for a while, cause his average has been really low all year.

Oswalt
Good post. Fans, especially the internet fringe, never put themselves in the position of the player. Everybody thinks, "If I was a player, I'd want a trade to a contender." "If I was a player, I'd run out every dropped third strike like it was the 7th game of the world series." Uh, you wouldn't. You are human. They are human. That said ... so many pitchers are making way too much money. My god, the contracts.

Peavy Done for Year; Marquez Up
Immunity from what? He's just another now in a long line of pitchers to get hurt and probably never be the same. It's sad, really, but bad business for baseball to keep giving these guys mega buck deals.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!
I hate stats like this. We needed to play some incredible percentage just to catch the Twins by the end of the year and we already did that.

Peavy Done for Year; Marquez Up
Can you get insurance? I can't imagine any company insuring an arm. Pitchers' arms go all the time. That would be insane of companies to insure pitchers. This is wasted money.

Peavy Done for Year; Marquez Up
What are the odds of him being better than average again? Not good. This was ... wasted money. It's not just Jake. It's giving pitchers these mega contracts. Very very stupid business.

This team is fun. Man, like somebody said, why do we need an all star break? We are so hot.

7/9 - KC Royals @ ChiSox
I wrote that I wanted him to blow it up, too. A lot of us don't know much. I was way wrong on that. I thought we were toast. We were nine under. Marquez ... not so good.

He's a darn good fielder. Pleasure to watch.

7/9 - KC Royals @ ChiSox
This is where I'd get along with a lot of posters if they would admit when they are wrong. I always admit the things I'm wrong about. Like Rios. I was wrong. Those who didn't want AJ in the lneup tonight should realize they were wrong.

7/9 - KC Royals @ ChiSox
AJ, our starting catcher with 2 home runs. Nice.

7/9 - KC Royals @ ChiSox
Also I don't like Jones but he is 3-3. Get used to him playing a lot in coming weeks even after he hits No. 400 if he ever hits 400.
-
7/9 - KC Royals @ ChiSox
That's a cop out. He's our starting catcher. Oz isn't playing the "sit AJ against all lefties yet." He would have played tonight even if he was 0-12 versus Chen all time. AJ isn't being platooned.

NBA Offseason Thread
Yeah the money backs you up. Rich guys like the Cavs' owner and Ozzie can say whatever they want because they are playing with the house's money. What can happen to them? Ozzie doesn't need the job; the Cavs' owner is a rich f*** who can say whatever he wants.
