This is easy. Teahen should not be a regular and all will be fine. Dayan has proven he's worthy of playing A LOT. The guy can hit. Play him just as we did Beckham last year. Teahen should play third once in a while, spelling Dayan. Omar should spell Beckham at second. Omar can also be a late inning guy at third defensively. Beckham and Dayan should be the regulars. Their youth is needed in this lineup to go with the oldsters. That is all.
  2. This either proves times are changing or the all star game just plain sucks. It used to be fans loved their players to be in the game and didn't worry about meaningless stuff like a player getting rest for a few days.
  3. Go ahead. They buy their pennants.
  4. Viciedo should play every day at third. There I said it. Fuk Teahen.
  5. I also dropped CQ. I try not to think about that. chw I will resist responding. You are one of the most demanding fans I've ever seen.
  6. There have been so many things said this season where the person ultimately got OWNED. Including me. Just about everybody has been owned by this team at some point.
  7. There are gonna be a lot of pitchers used in this one, today. Can the Sox slop out a victory?
  8. Thanks Quin. Life is short to stress about every f***ing thing in sports. GO PAULIE!
  9. Some people take sports too seriously. I want to see Paulie in the all star contest, cause the contest exists and I want to see him hit in it. Who gives a f*** if there's some hex? The article said otherwise. Enjoy life! Dont worry. Be f***ing happy people!

Hawk isn't getting older, he's getting better.
  11. He looks great. Even when he really stunk he was knocking in runs, so I think he's back. I hope so.
  12. As I recall almost everybody was blasting the team pretty hard and almost everybody thought it was over, me included. There were a couple folks as I recall stressing, "It's early," but I think it's safe to say MOST wanted this thing blown up and to start trading veterans fast and furiously. I congratulate those who thought it was early. It was two months in and we just sucked balls.
  13. I hope he IS in the home run contest to make it f***ing interesting. DIdn't you read the article somebody posted with stats that indicate performance does not dip after playing in the contest? Put Paulie in the HR contest!
  14. Great great victory. 7 in a row. I wish Detroit had lost, but what the heck. We won!
  15. If we win this game, to have ANOTHER 7 game win streak is amazing.
  16. Nice frickin pitch, Putz. Avilas ain't a bad hitter. Good job.
  17. I'm all for Putz being in, I just wondering why Pena is warmin' up.
  18. Is Bobby hurt? Why Pena warming up? Good out, Putz. Nice pitch.
  19. Putz to close tonight it appears.
  20. I'd be all in favor of just letting Matt close this out tonight. With Zack tomorrow, take no chances today.
  21. Excellent heat. Nobody can catch up to it.
  22. A homer by Butler could make it interesting. Heat it up, Matt.
  23. Great game, Gavin. 110 pitches is a lot nowadays. But what if he had a no hitter going? Would he be allowed to go 120-130 pitches to complete a no no? That's what's crazy about pitch counts. What if a no hitter was going on with five or six walks and a lotta foul balls?
  24. Who gets the ninth?
  25. Gavin approaching 110 pitches.
