I love how you constantly bash Rios whenever you get the chance, yet not Dye when he is playing just as bad offensively and even worse defensively.
I forgot Dye, just edited him in. My bad. He truly was horrific, but in a sad, shake your head kind of way.
Kudos go to:
Freddy, AJ, Pods, Thornton, Jenks, Josh, the good Dotel.
Nice jobs.
Goat horns go to
Dye, Pena; Rios (though he did get the bunt down in extra innings only to see the runner die at second).
If we had a chance of any kind we'd have swept the crummy A's while the Royals were cooling off the Tigers.
Hate to be buzzkill but did you watch tonight's game? It was two pretty bad teams with us salvaging the series split barely.
AJ and Paulie are having great years.
I still can't believe Dye couldn't get the run in with the bags juiced to win it earlier.
And really can't believe Oz screwed Freddy by bringing in Pena. Freddy shoulda got the win with Thonrton and Bobby saving it.
It sure seems like we are the worst team in baseball history at scoring a runner from second with one out. But I read the post that said we actually aren't totally bad with RISP this year.
Can you imagine how mad we'd be if this game tonight really mattered? Wow.
That's true. Amazingly they could have gotten it down to 7 in the loss column simply by sweeping the A's.
What a season of frustration on the south side.
Jermaine can't even get a walkoff single against a pathetic team like Oakland.
Wow.
I hope Pena left the ballpark. His teammates should b****slap him for making them stick around another hour or two when they could be out drinking if he'd have gotten one out.
