  1. Not trying to argue with you. I just am not convinced. Pods, AJ and Paulie ... can they continue this excellence as they continue to age? Dye, Rios? Bobby, Liney? Bullpen questions. Not a lot of speed. Hope Oz can push the right buttons next year. As an Oz lover, I fear for his job if we have a disappointing season again.
  2. I don't know about that Balta. Another way to look at it is it's a very weak division and we have never even come close to excaping the .500ism. I guess we can chalk it up to a bad year and start anew in the spring. The hope is we'll magically be a .600, not a .500 team. Not saying it can't happen, but now we have to add closer to our list of possible problems.
  3. Can't argue with that. They might just decide all we need is a fresh start next spring, however. That might be dangerous trotting out Liney again next season.
  4. 5-7 since that win over the Cubs. Losers. Hope next year it all changes. I'm afraid Oz is gonna be on the hot seat if we don't get off to a good start next year. Team just drops too many games. Next year needs to be a different story.
  5. Long plane ride home for the losers.
  6. Liney makes a lot of money to suckkkkkk.
  7. get us out of this to Silva!!
  8. If Liney gets out of this inning, anybody can hit Silva, right? Oops, man on base, hard hit off Liney.
  9. Aha, Liney gets the loss unless he decides to man up.
  10. One has to think we're about to check it in tonight. At some point, there's the "give up" factor. The offense can't score tonight since Bobby f***ed up.
  11. This is simply hard to believe ... all the horrific at bats.
  12. Well, it's pretty obvious we're not gonna score. Unless ... Gordon HR?
  13. That pitch mighta hurt a lot, though. Wasn't it gonna hit Pods on the knee?
  14. I take it back; Dotel with strikeout stuff. Nice. Can't we score some runs??? WTF. Our bullpen exceot for Bobby has been great tonight. Why no runs?
  15. Here it comes. Octavio doesn't have his strikeout stuff. Chopper off the plate setting up the winner. We is in trouble albeit some bad luck there.
  16. It would have been a nice efficient 3-1 win and 2 of 3 vs. the M's. Now ... we likely lose 2 of 3. Bummer unless we scratch out a win.
  17. Good to hear Hawk enthusiastic even in the 12th inning. He Gawn.
  18. Those Dotel pitches appear hittable. Bad Dotel tonight?
  19. Griffey still has time to get the winning blast.
  20. No sense blasting Alex and Jermaine anymore. It's too easy. Is this another game we have to endure watching the other team celebrate like mad after the walk off?
  21. Maybe next year we'll have comeback victories like the M's did in tying it tonight.
  22. That was a crappy pop up, Lexi.
  23. I can't imagine the Sox bringing him back, Tizzle. But he probably still has some baseball left in him. Texas?
