  1. Cmon Kenny boy. Contribute baby.
  2. Big at bat for OC. If he's a winner, he strokes a hit to right center for a single.
  3. Why can't Toby have a career day at the plate today? Step up sir.
  4. I think that's a plan. I would prefer however Broadway going til he runs out of pitch count and Carrasco saving the day going all the way to the ninth with us slopping out a one run win.
  5. I always forget to write it down brian. I think it's Ozzieguillen13@hotmail.com.
  6. Fathom or whomever said it is right. Carrasco is still gonna pitch 4 innings. Oh well, nice job getting out of the jam Lance. He overcame the error.
  7. That's a great post. Lexi would have looked good up there with Paulie moved down. I emailed Oz and said go ahead and play Paulie just bat him eighth.
  8. If you do not want to lose your sanity the rest of the season forget about BA except for defensive replacement late. He's done. The acquisition of Fat Man KG means absolutely no time for BA.
  9. Too bad paulie didn't get a single like last night and at least it'd be 2-2 as we continue to play s***ty.
  10. Buck would be the guy to hit since he's the catcher. And he's a big boy with a temper. Or wait for Jose Guillen.
  11. We've got to retaliate. Here comes the fight today in Game 3.
  12. Wow Broadway is going to be told to hit a Royal next half inning. He's probably gonna get ejected after he does it.
  13. Game threads are so funny. You are making these comments after one inning isn't even completed. If we get mauled you look good. If we rally and win you will be all happy and forget this comment. Fans' emotions are amazing. You could be right, I'm just saying not even an inning is completed. My feeling is no matter what happens today we should be able to score one more run than this horses*** team we are playing.
  14. Great post stretch. Their postseason flops frustrate me as well. That's why it was so cool in 05 when we got in we took care of business.
  15. If Richard sucks again that's just sad. He should be ultra fired up to mow down the Royals. Although obviously KC is due.
  16. I kinda liked Valentin all the way through his tenure. He was pretty good.
  17. Wow that second list of names was good as well. Sox fans know their Sox history. I forgot about Kemp he wasn't very good either.
  18. That's a pretty good list C - Sandy Alomar - He was Ok that one year wasn't he? 1B- John Kruk - He didn't do much. Ron Blomberg was also a bust at 1B. 2B- Robbie Alomar - He stunk IMO. SS- Royce Clayton (I can't really pick anyone for here, he fits) - One of my least favorite Sox of all time. 3B- Chris Sabo OF- George Bell - He actually complained during the playoffs as I recall about his place in the batting order or something. OF- Kenny Lofton - Huge huge bust. OF- Darin Erstad - Not a good acquisition for the Sox. DH- Jose Canseco - Hit a few bombs, but like you say stunk. SP R- Bartolo Colon SP L- David Wells CL- Billy Koch Can't argue with the pitchers. One year the Sox acquired Bobby Bonds and he was miserable. You came up with a pretty good list IMO.
  19. Wow. Will he start over Broadway?
  20. Cause I didn't expect this from them. I mean they even won the series from the Yankees. They beat us 3 of 4 when it mattered. Now they have 6 at home against lousy teams. I would have expected this from Det. and Cleve this year but not Minnie. I even expected KC to pass Minnie.
  21. I love the Sox, but I'm amazed by the Twinks.
  22. That's a cool story about the emails. Nice stuff.
  23. Yeah a game would be nice if Minnie does indeed go 5-1 or 6-0. Ever since somebody posted that thread about us having to play 4 in New York, 3 in Minnie and three in KC in late September, I've felt kind of queasy overall about our chances.
  24. I'd think it will be pretty obvious if his back is bothering him. Maybe not. I'd think there are ways a guy like Oz, who played the game forever, could figure it out. I applaud Juan for that play tonight, but I am not a big Juan Uribe fan. I am a big Joe Crede fan.
  25. If Broadway pitches well, will Nancy Faust serenade the crowd with "Give My Regards to Broadway" as he exits to loud applause?
