But if he's mad at him for not hauling ass on a tap to the mound, get real. Ozzie's done an incredible job to get this team this far over .500.

I'm not supporting Javy, but I have a question: What pitchers in baseball today are strong mentally?? I think we judge our own harsher than others. There are no complete game pitchers anymore. Has anybody watched enough games of all pitchers to tell me who is tough mentally?? I just hope our pitchers get their heads out of their asses or we aren't going to make the playoffs.

Has Kenny said this? When in the past have we had our regular starters miss starts for rest purposes?? And as far as how big a lead we can maintain? The lead has not been big for quite some time now and I can't see it getting real big. I mean anything under 8 games is not that big. Let's say heaven forbid we lose 4 straight to Minnie and Detroit smokes Cleveland. They'd be right back within 3 games as well. Tons of season left.

Winning game one would be nice. It always is nice to win the first game in the other team's park. Did you guys sense a lack of caring in Hawk and DJ today? It was like we won the first two and that was all that mattered. Indeed winning the series is all that ultimately matters, but I thought with the pitching matchup in our favor and our bats alive of late, it was prime sweep time. One at a time, White Sox. I don't sense anybody is totally burying Javy. You've got to admit he's been pretty bad of late and gives up a lot of dingers. Somebody said he needed some balls or whatever. He definitely needs to get it going. Assuming Jose is finished ... if he keeps pitching like this, it's going to be tough to win the division or wildcard.

Swisher's on base percentage I guess has made many fall in manlove with him. I can't fall in manlove with a guy hitting in the .230s. He has had a few hits as I recall helping us win some of these more sloppy games of late which I commend him for. And I think we won the game in which he hit two bombs. Those bombs were nice. I don't understand the love for Swisher, however, but it is certainly out there.

I always was a Garland guy, not Javy. Javy needs to pull his head out and start dealing. Two of three is nice, very nice. But today's pitching matchup on paper was ours to win. Now it's off to Minnie. Time to compete again, White Sox. Anything can happen and probably will in the dome. 4 games? My god. 2-2 would be acceptable. 1-3 or 0-4 would really suck. 4-0 would be ungodly.

Win what? Our division, the wild card or the big prize? If we get in the playoffs anything can happen. Like somebody asked, who are we gonna get? And for whom?? I'm stealing their line, but who do you want who is available and again, for whom? I can't imagine anybody excited about seeing Jose pitch for us again. But how do we upgrade?

Personally I think we should shelve Jose for the rest of the year and try to deal for a starter like some other teams have done. Who that starter is and who we should deal? I have no idea. It's why KW gets the big bucks.

OM god. I went to eat and then went running and came back and saw we won! When I left, it looked like Gavin was gonna get raked for 10 plus runs. I think starting Fields made sense, but if he sucks all night then Uribe shoulda got the call. That's obvious. Detroit smells blood early.

Hopefully Fields will play and return to the form of last year. Hopefully his bad ML numbers are a result of him being bored down there after proving he could play in the bigs. Put him in the lineup and produce, Josh.

Love your optimism but as you know we've sucked against guys with some bad recent pitching lines. Isn't Detroit's park un-homer friendly? That might be a problem for us. I sense a lot of popups and medium deep fly balls. Hope I'm wrong. I wanna win!!!

Amen, Whitesoxfan you said it all. Those of us who love Paulie and won't boo him admit he's sucking. We're just saying booing him is a sick sick sad act. The guy was Mr. 2005 as whitesoxfan said. Hell yes I'm emotional about him. I won't turn on him. If KW thinks he's finished as well as Oz, then dump him. Booing him shows something wrong in society.
