  1. If Carrasco pitches another scoreless inning he deserves much love and we must rally and win.
  2. Bring up somebody who has been starting in minors. Please no Masset or Carrasco.
  3. I thought Fields was a top prospect. How bout Fields, Paulie, Broadway, Macdougal and Dotel for Ichiro.
  4. Pretty close. Twins have been red hot since we kicked their ass.
  5. But why all the injuries? What ya mean? Explain more.

Crede made the error, they hit a bomb shortly after and the rest was history. Two hits won't cut it. Bannister is a lot like Meche. Quite hittable some nights; other nights decent. We need to rip him and win 2 of 3 which would be a successful series.
  7. This is by no means a slam at Linebrink, but wow, pitchers today have so many problems. Are we ever gonna see a 300 winner again aside from some possible old guy close to 300 now? I say no way. I'm not implying Linebrink would win 300 as he's a reliever. It's amazing all the arm problems and pitchers like Zito hitting the brick wall. Hope he can keep the arm strength all season.
  8. Dunno. He was limping. Sure he'll get the day off Sunday now.
  9. Hope all the fans go do something fun after that bloodbath. Go downtown and get drunk and forget they made the trip to the Cell. Everything went to hell after Joe's error. Not saying that was the difference in a game we got 2 hits though.
  10. Since the first inning yesterday, our bats have fallen asleep again.
  11. I feel for the fans at the Cell tonight. Yuk.
  12. As many times as we play these teams, we're going to lose some to them. I think this is our first loss in The Cell to these stiffs this year. I wish we could go 18-1 versus KC but it ain't gonna happen (assuming we play them 19 times; I think that's it). It would be nice to win every series we play against them, though.
  13. Wow a butt kicking by Buck and Butler tonight.
  14. Not in July, though all games are important. Massett's pitches often scream, "hit me."
  15. It's funny you mentioned Swisher's leftside stance. I was thinking the other day he's a pretty good righthanded hitter compared to lefty. I was too lazy to look up the stats so I don't know if that's the case or not, but he seems to attack the ball better as a righty.
  16. Paulie, Fields and Broadway for Ichiro? Paulie is only 32.
  17. Is Alexei a great ss defensively? If so, fine, but it'd be nice to pencil him in at second for the next 10 years. He's a great hitter and appears comfy at second. Maybe he's just as good at ss, just asking.
  18. You don't think there are some Crede haters on here? Hey, Crede haters, come alive and show yourselves.
  19. Ichiro would be great. Just as a hypothetical that somebody mentioned, would they deal Ichiro for Danks, Floyd, Broadway, Paulie and Fields? I would not do that trade if I was KW, but I bet they would.
  20. Frank Sinatra's song will get a lot of play if the Sox play the Cubs in the WS.
  21. Has anybody picked him up yet? He may change his mind about the AAA assignment if nobody wants him. Or has he retired?
  22. Sometimes fans tend to take for granted their own. Those aren't bad numbers. Somebody's going to pay Joe a lot of money next year.
  23. It'd be nice to come out swinging again tonight and find some holes against Meche, just as the Sox did vs. Greinke.
  24. Big crowd; great win. Dye for president. Mark for Veep.
