It's funny you mentioned Swisher's leftside stance. I was thinking the other day he's a pretty good righthanded hitter compared to lefty. I was too lazy to look up the stats so I don't know if that's the case or not, but he seems to attack the ball better as a righty.

I think it'd be a fun series. No. 1, it would be great for the great city of Chicago. It'd be so great to see the pre-game pieces the network would do on Chicago. It'd be all Chicago all the time. As far as the Sox winning or losing. ... I agree with the post that it's huge the AL won the all star game. That'd be sweet if we could go 2-0 in the Series and get them on their heels heading into Wrigley. It'd be very tough to take losing to them though if that was to somehow happen.

OC and AJP get just one hit but they were big in the first inning, responding to KC's early run. Paulie got a nice single and I was distracted at the time but it looked like he hit the ball hard on his last out as well. Crede two hits and two RBI; Swish gets a hit and RBI. 36,000 fans. Bulls***. I made a post about booing Paulie would be the worst moment in Sox history. I since amended it to "one of the worst moments" in Sox history. I have since been responding to people who think it's OK to boo Paulie. For the record, I wouldn't boo any Sox player as I don't boo, but that's not the point. I am not making excuses for Konerko. He has stunk this season. Yes he has stunk. The issue has been booing. He does not deserve to be booed. Any Sox fan that would boo him is a jackass. Case closed.
