I don't know why you would say that. Without these guys and women you would not be grilling hotdogs on your patio today, you'd be worshiping some dictator and having one child maximum per family. You wouldn't be rooting for the White Sox, you'd be rooting for the Reds.

How many of you young people had freedom as kids as we did? Get up every day in summer age 9-12, gather up friends, ride bikes somewhere to play ball all day with no adult supervision. Maybe go home for lunch. In winter after school gather friends go play basketball or hockey no adult supervision. Uh nobody was kidnapped. Nobody died. Now coddling, Ridalin, etc. GO SOX!!

What do you guys think of how streaky the Sox are? Either we are worldbeaters like we are again or we are in the tank. I hope when we do lose (I hope it's after we rattle off 15 in a row) we somehow gain consistency. Maybe that's impossible with this team. I'll take first place either way.

There's no reason to hope for a rainout. If CC beats us, good for him. Like somebody said, a funky DH date late in the season could screw us just as much. What if we lost 2 then? It's a marathon season; bring on CC even if he one-hits us.
