Royals have some good lefty hitters in DeJesus, Gordon, Teahen, Gathright and Gload. Aviles is hot. Royals haven't beaten the Sox all season and even they have some pride, especially after last night's game, which was a heartbreaker for them. It will take another good hitting game to beat them tonight I fear. Seems like the teams that hit Bannister come out swingin. He's not bad. Should be another close game.

Some of you guys act like Dotel is really good. He might be worth a try, but he's no Rivera. Committee sounds good to me.

No offense, but that's stupid. They were trying to win just like the Sox. It happened to be a good game. True Linebrink sucked, but there were a lot of potential goats on both sides in that game. Call me dumb but I'd try Linebrink again. He's getting used to being trotted out there. Or try Masset again. True he stunk, but he did get the last DP ball.

Maybe kyle, but the odds are so slim of us both even making the playoffs. Sox, Tigers and Twins will be in a war all season. Cubs will probably win that division going away.

Jose sucked tonight. His pitches screamed "hit me." Funny to be at the game and look at that bullpen and nobody moving. In a way I respect Ozzie for doing it. Jose was gonna pitch at least five innings no matter how s***ty he was pitching. We had seats by the plate and he was horrible. No velocity. Nothing.

The way Thornton is throwing I'd give him a chance til he blows one. Unless Oz figures Linebrink is our best candidate and merely needs to get used to the role. Linebrink's too good a pitcher to keep blowing saves isn't he?

I disagree. He didn't seem put off at all by Morrisseey. He said he likes emails. He'll keep responding to ones that push the right buttons. I sense the two have a good relationship. Oz obviously likes getting email. The article made that clear. Shoot, email Oz and ask him if this will make him change his email attitude. I bet he responds to that question. He'll keep emailing.

There's so much ball left who knows what will happen? I think the Twins and Tigers are for real. It'd be nice to keep playing well against the Royals. We're off to a good start vs. them this year.

I don't see how anybody can be critical of Wise right now. He's fun to watch play and is contributing some. I do like BA, though. We played well w/out Paulie. Now that he's back he better suck it up and be the old Paulie. Wise and BA and Swish have done OK in his absence.

I don't know why Thome can't hit righties well any more. It's frustrating to see him whiff on so many pitches. That's sad some fan threw a ball on the field (how else did the ball get there) and cost him a single.

BA is becoming one of my favorite part-time players in recent team history. The guy whacks a bomb every once in a while and plays stellar D.

IMO: Men and women in the military equals good. Men and women who fight for our freedom equals good. Any way to honor them equals good. Camo unis equal ugly. Military policy sometimes equals ugly. If I could buy everybody who has served a brew, I would.

They ought to buy some whipped cream. Shaving cream is tough on the eyes, burning. They got the money; buy some whipped cream and make fake cakes to smash in the faces. You got to admit ... BA has potential to be a powerful hitter.
