Royals vs Sox...Part Trois - Sweep Edition
Great question. I forget his age, it's 25 or 26 I believe. He was at Nebraska 3 years, but it's been a big discussion in KC. If he is to be a star, the analysts say, he needs to have shown more than he has so far. He's been a mild disappointment. If he fails to break out next year he may be officially just another decent player instead of an all star type.

Royals vs Sox...Part Trois - Sweep Edition
Not to bag on Thome, but he talks about wanting to win a WS before he's done. You got to come through in situations he failed in on his last at bat if he truly wants a WS. He needed to drive in those 2 runs and didn't. Dye and CQ can't do it all.

Royals vs Sox...Part Trois - Sweep Edition
What's funny is we already got 6 hits. We're abusing Davies worse so far than they are abusing Lance. Through 2 innings at least.

That's so clutch it's sick. Oz has to manage this game differently. We NEED to outslop KC today. So monitor Lance closely as well as Carrasco when he comes in. We gotta get teh sweep! Way to go jermaine! You are a stud.

Cmon Kenny boy. Contribute baby.

Big at bat for OC. If he's a winner, he strokes a hit to right center for a single.

Why can't Toby have a career day at the plate today? Step up sir.

Royals vs Sox...Part Trois - Sweep Edition
I think that's a plan. I would prefer however Broadway going til he runs out of pitch count and Carrasco saving the day going all the way to the ninth with us slopping out a one run win.

Fathom or whomever said it is right. Carrasco is still gonna pitch 4 innings. Oh well, nice job getting out of the jam Lance. He overcame the error.

That's a great post. Lexi would have looked good up there with Paulie moved down. I emailed Oz and said go ahead and play Paulie just bat him eighth.

If you do not want to lose your sanity the rest of the season forget about BA except for defensive replacement late. He's done. The acquisition of Fat Man KG means absolutely no time for BA.

Too bad paulie didn't get a single like last night and at least it'd be 2-2 as we continue to play s***ty.

Buck would be the guy to hit since he's the catcher. And he's a big boy with a temper. Or wait for Jose Guillen.

We've got to retaliate. Here comes the fight today in Game 3.

Wow Broadway is going to be told to hit a Royal next half inning. He's probably gonna get ejected after he does it.

Game threads are so funny. You are making these comments after one inning isn't even completed. If we get mauled you look good. If we rally and win you will be all happy and forget this comment. Fans' emotions are amazing. You could be right, I'm just saying not even an inning is completed. My feeling is no matter what happens today we should be able to score one more run than this horses*** team we are playing.

THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!
Great post stretch. Their postseason flops frustrate me as well. That's why it was so cool in 05 when we got in we took care of business.

Richard going back up...
If Richard sucks again that's just sad. He should be ultra fired up to mow down the Royals. Although obviously KC is due.

All-Time Worst big-name players of the Sox history
I kinda liked Valentin all the way through his tenure. He was pretty good.

All-Time Worst big-name players of the Sox history
Wow that second list of names was good as well. Sox fans know their Sox history. I forgot about Kemp he wasn't very good either.

All-Time Worst big-name players of the Sox history
That's a pretty good list C - Sandy Alomar - He was Ok that one year wasn't he? 1B- John Kruk - He didn't do much. Ron Blomberg was also a bust at 1B. 2B- Robbie Alomar - He stunk IMO. SS- Royce Clayton (I can't really pick anyone for here, he fits) - One of my least favorite Sox of all time. 3B- Chris Sabo OF- George Bell - He actually complained during the playoffs as I recall about his place in the batting order or something. OF- Kenny Lofton - Huge huge bust. OF- Darin Erstad - Not a good acquisition for the Sox. DH- Jose Canseco - Hit a few bombs, but like you say stunk. SP R- Bartolo Colon SP L- David Wells CL- Billy Koch Can't argue with the pitchers. One year the Sox acquired Bobby Bonds and he was miserable. You came up with a pretty good list IMO.

Richard going back up...
Wow. Will he start over Broadway?

THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!
Cause I didn't expect this from them. I mean they even won the series from the Yankees. They beat us 3 of 4 when it mattered. Now they have 6 at home against lousy teams. I would have expected this from Det. and Cleve this year but not Minnie. I even expected KC to pass Minnie.
