Only the Democrats can have a viable candidate (last election) in Bernie and not let the voting process play out and get him in as the candidate over a controversial Hillary. If the party would have ridden Bernie-mania it would have won. Cause the media would ultimately have shrugged and said, "Damnit we wanted Hillary to fulfill her coronation, but If Bernie has to be the candidate then Bernie it is." They'd have backed him heavily as they did Hillary. We don't need to re-visit the problems of Hillary as a candidate, but we do need to push Bernie cause he is a.) a name. b.) beloved by the youth. c.) willing to get us free stuff unlike the bastards whose only goal seems to force homelessness on the poor and middle class. Nobody cares bout us actively besides Bernie.

No evidence. I just read some poster saying somebody wrote he might be older than it says on his baseball card. I hope he's the exact age he's supposed to be. Look, he's hitting great again this year. So taking the emotion out of it ... Mr. Hahn is probably thinking seriously about trading him at the deadline this season. It'd be just like Sale. Trading an all star for probably 3 prospects. Will they be top prospects? We shall see. I bet you right now the true odds of him being dealt are 50-50. Especially if what you guys say is true about him commanding 18 to 20 mill a year. That's not the Sox style to pay that jack, especially in this fan friendly age of fans loving prospects. I think it's 50-50 he gets dealt; maybe 60-40 cause of the rebuild thing and the fact fans won't give him any grief over a deal that involves at least 3 prospects. Personally I want to keep him.

I'm not a joke. I'm furious at the unfairness of getting to have a job where you are allowed to fail, and receive raises and pats on the back for failing with the so-called rebuild the excuse. I hate to break it to people, but there is a LOT of work to be done to build this roster. And with our fans' desire to not spend cash, good luck building a contender. Yes on paper there are some nice pieces, but already there are some ???s. Rey-Lo looks like a rotation pitcher (that's good), Moncada looks like an all star (that's good), Timmy is OK, but that defense? Gio frankly has a ton of work to do. Some want to ship Abreu out for more prospects. Davidson is my idol but may not be the answer at DH. The relievers? Maybe Fry really is good. Nate is OK. The rest of the staff blows. You know ... as bad as the Sox teams have been, we better be contenders 6-10 straight years to make up for the pain of these crappy teams.

It's another one of those games where Hahn gets to be a genius. Instead of feeling embarrassed at that relief choke job, he can smile and wink at the investors and say, 'Just as we planned it.' Any chance of Bernie running independent? Even he should be concerned about possible backstabbing to make sure he doesn't get the nomination. I realize running Indy means you can't win though which saddens me. Nobody's going to pony up 18 to 20 mill a year considering he's probably older than his listed age. I'd say if he gets 15 mill a year he's tapped out there. I could see it between 12 and 15, couldn't you? Jose should be thrilled to get 60 million for four years from his favorite team, the Sox. Then one year deals like Melky.

I just watched highlights. His delivery looked fine but he looked like he was pitching batting practice. He's lucky he didn't get killed out there. He was just laying it in there over the plate and it didn't seem very fast, either. Yikes. Does he have any options? Send his ass to minors. He won't be getting many guys out with that stuff.

I haven't seen Gio's starts so I'm just talking off box scores. He is 6-foot-6. He is walking some people. Sometimes these tall guys need to have simple windups or pitch from the stretch. I'm assuming he hasn't put much thought in his delivery, but he better go train under Randy Johnson for a month this offseason. Like I said, these excessively tall pitchers often have control problems. PTATC can u analyze his delivery?

What is wrong with the Democratic party? I sense disdain for Bernie, almost hatred. This is a guy the Millenials want. He could win. And like I said, I've given up. The Republican candidates don't care about the middle class going broke over health care. And Social Security that is going to put so many Baby Boomers on the streets when they run out of funds in retirement. I'm generally not for socialism but I've been forced there by Trump and all the politicians who don't give a flip about the middle class/poor class. Get behind Bernie. I do wish we could turn back the clock and make him 10 years younger but whatever. He'll need a good VP candidate, not some embarrassment. Bernie I predict will adopt a gun policy that will support the grade schoolers and high schoolers who are under siege by maniacs/madmen. If we don't start fixing health care and college kids going into severe debt just to get a degree, etc., we better build homeless parks cause 70 percent of the current middle class over 50 will be homeless someday. And these Millenials will be homeless in their late 30s, 40s because of lack of jobs and the fact they've just got no money. Cancer is out of control; diseases are out of control and like I said your savings will be gone in an instant if you ever need surgery and/or a 3 week hospital stay. I wish the Democrats would get behind Bernie. But again I sense flat out hatred of him.

I am giving up now. I want Bernie and only Bernie. We have given traditional politics many tries and what do we get?? We get unsulted and pillaged of our money. Health care is now my No. 1 concern. Because in the last 10 years we've now finally gotten to the point those assholes running health care companies refuse to pay for our health care expenses even if we buy the maximum coverage of insurance. Again ... how many of the middle class save their entire lives, have a worth of about 500,000 bucks which could be a good chunk in retirement, but NOOOOOOOO. A trip to the hospital and you will have to pay 70-80 percent of the bill because of the pathetic health care situation we are in. So I now want FREE coverage for all and Bernie is the only guy to give us that. I also want free college education for kids now because the colleges have fooled society into thinking they need to charge kids 50,000 bucks a semester or school year for fricking in state tuition. Ridiculous. And guns. I want none on the street anymore to protect the grade schoolers and high schoolers and movie theatre goers. Bernie will do that. And I want social security to stay and you just know it's going away soon. BERNIE IS THE ANSWER and the only answer right now cause Ventura is un-electable. Bernie can win.
