QUOTE (Big Hurtin @ Oct 31, 2016 -> 11:56 PM) A. Why not? B. It's impossible for you to listen to him as much as you say and not know this. Why not? You hate millions of Americans who love Rush? One might be a relative of yours you know. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 1, 2016 -> 12:01 AM) Want to hear him use the N-word? Want to hear him make fun of the fact that the Chinese Premier has an asian accent? His "Which team will win Survivor based on every racial stereotype you can come up with" would be funny if it weren't sick. At least you came up with some links this time. Your blanket statements were pretty offensive/inappropriate I thought. p.s. I'm afraid to click on links after what happened when I clicked on one of caulfield's.

So Comey got all this praise from Democrats when he first let Hillary off the hook. Now he's getting hammered from all sides since he decided to look at the e-mails some more. You can't make this stuff up. So before, you hear all these clips of Democrats saying how stellar the FBI director is. Now ... he's the worst! He should be fired. Etc.

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Oct 31, 2016 -> 11:40 PM) Look at it like the SAT essay exam. It's pretty hard to imagine questions were asked that hadn't been anticipated from either camp. You can research past debates and moderators and their styles of questioning quite easily. I would argue that Clinton actually does worse when she's overprepared, uses pretested jokes or forces soundbites, etc. Let's say there are a field of 500 possible essay questions (released items from past exams) for the SAT. Students here in China will memorize every single one and develop a strategy with three bullet points of how to handle that question. The problem is that sometimes their answers will seem too rehearsed and robotic on speaking exams...but it does work fairly well for essays. This is all pretty bad though. The person who leaked the questions should be ashamed of herself. And again, why accept the question if you are Hillary? Don't you agree little things can say a lot about a person? If she gets a leaked question shouldn't she tell the leaker to give one to Trump as well?

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 31, 2016 -> 11:24 PM) He's a racist bigoted sexist hateful terrible human being and anyone who thinks he is anything other than that is very likely in many of those same categories with him. See? What a double standard. How many Americans love and listen to Limbaugh?? Tons. You can't just says millions of Americans are scum for loving Rush. Now your first sentence is interesting. Would I face suspension on here if I rattled off a similarly mean sentence about Hillary? Or Bill? What about mean unsubstantiated stuff about Obama? You issue no proof of his racism and sexist ways. Terrible human being? How the hell do you KNOW that. He may for all we know give more money to charity than some saint. At least I backed off when told to lay off Hillary. Now I only put criticism when I have the links.

Now this is amazing. Hillary accepted the leaked debate questions?? That says nothing about her character, though. She saw nothing wrong in accepting the questions. Hey, all's fair when you are the Clintons, right? She should never have accepted the questions in advance. A trustworthy person wouldn't have. These small signs add up, people. Explain this one! https://www.yahoo.com/news/cnn-cuts-ties-wi...-183855590.html

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Oct 31, 2016 -> 07:26 PM) You love listening to conspiracy theorists and you are writing one in for president. And you wonder why nobody takes you seriously..... Yeah but you can't deny my complaint. You guys blast a lot of people like Limbaugh out of pocket and I get reamed when I blast Hillary without links, etc. Limbaugh, Meghan McCain, Herman Cain, some of the people I link to ... they immediately get dismissed as kooks or horrible people. Then when I blasted Hillary on occasion without proof I got told to cut it out. I even got told to quit putting negative Hillary stuff in the Democrat thread. Why is Limbaugh so bad a source? He's rich. He has a zillion listeners like Stern.

QUOTE (Tony @ Oct 31, 2016 -> 04:13 AM) You make me sad. You don't agree that the Clintons are full of smoking guns? You don't agree the Clintons are shady characters? Why are you behind her so much? Do you even accept the fact she might be guilty? If not, why not? I am more skeptical. There's no reason to support Trump because of all the things he's said and done in his life; and there's also no reason to support Hillary. I'm not looking forward to her raising taxes on everybody, either. I want the 1 percenters out of the political game. Why don't you? Do they still have the Prep Bowl? If Rice was smart they'd let their backup quarterback get some experience for next year in the Prep Bowl playoffs. Play the senior starter some of course, but let the returnees get some experience.

World Series: Indians vs. Cubs
QUOTE (chw42 @ Oct 31, 2016 -> 03:47 AM) Go Cubs Go might be the most annoying song ever. It's stupidly catchy and I hate what it's trying to say. It's a horrific song. I want to know who created it? Eddie Vetter?? It's just awful. However I can see how if it's YOUR TEAM you might love the song. I get it in that regard, but if you are not a Cub fan, my gosh it is sickening to hear. QUOTE (Green Line @ Oct 31, 2016 -> 03:48 AM) Cubs fans are literally shooting off fireworks in my neighborhood. God help us, this franchise is a joke. I know what you are saying but this is the World Series. This is what Cub fans are thinking about every minute of every day. I don't blame them. They are the favorites and if they finally have their s*** together, they'll still win it. I mean the World Series is a big deal and their team is still alive. I can see celebrating.

QUOTE (Tony @ Oct 30, 2016 -> 09:39 PM) Strike 3? You gave me links from Breitbart (who's editor in chief is the CEO of the Trump campaign), Conservative Review, and a link to Jeffery Lord on CNN, who Anderson Cooper and the rest of the talking heads said was ridiculous. From the lawnewz site, who is run by Dan Abrams and is fairly well respected...you sent over a link with this paragraph. Did you actually read what you linked? Really, Greg? That's what you're bringing to the the table? Well, they can prosecute her when she's President and throw her in the slammer. I guess she remains president in jail? Maybe it's like when a manager gets tossed and sends up decisions from the clubhouse to the dugout.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 30, 2016 -> 07:57 PM) Because of people like you who insist its important to remain uneducated and spend your days telling us how important it is that Rush Limbaugh said something. I find it amazing that people blast me for liking Rush Limbaugh and Meghan McCain and people like that and yet I get reamed over the coals for what many find equally simplistic criticisms of Hillary. It goes both ways folks. You guys just hate on Limbaugh with no examples and I hate on Hillary et all. But I am the bad guy and everybody else can pile on me. You could counter by saying, "We all know Limbaugh is a joke; he sucks." And I could say, "We all know Hillary is guilty as hell. Hillary sucks." I don't get the double standard.

Looks like the media's strategy and Hillary's is to go after Comey and the FBI. Smart smart move. She is correctly banking on the fact the media will back her on this and her supporters will readily blame the FBI upon her lead. Smart move by the Hillary camp as the media are going to rip the FBI mercilessly all days leading up to the coronation day. I'll give Hillary's camp credit. They know politics and they know the support they have from the media is vital here.

QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Oct 30, 2016 -> 03:00 PM) Seems like you despise all female politicians. What's that about? Hillary and Palin? My gosh that's a small sample size. I'm pretty sure I didn't vote for McCain because Palin quite frankly sickens me. Hillary ... I can't stand anything about her except Kate McKinnon's portrayal. I love Elizabeth Dole and others. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Oct 30, 2016 -> 01:38 PM) Why is this a smoking gun? They went through her emails and no charges. Now there are some emails on another computer. Chances are, they are emails they have already seen. The fact is, this new "evidence" of Hillary's guilt, hasn't even been looked at. The emails just exist at this point and haven't been read by the Feds. And what is the intent here? Is Hillary a traitor? If anyone is a traitor it is Trump who actually encouraged Russia to hack emails. He should be in jail. You answered my question by quickly mentioning Trump. People hate Trump so they vote for Hillary. Makes sense ... not. There's a simple solution. Write in your favorite write-in. In my case Jesse Ventura. To vote for Hillary is to vote for 2 years of impeachment bulls***.

World Series: Indians vs. Cubs
QUOTE (flavum @ Oct 30, 2016 -> 05:12 PM) I'll give the Cubs organization credit. They had a plan. They executed a plan. They won a pennant, which is an accomplishment. And their window for winning will still be there the next few years. That's the baseball side of it...good for them. As far as their stupid fans...nothing would make me happier than to see them lose all three games at Wrigley in their first World Series in 71 years. All that money spent by d-bags just to see them lose...would love it! Good point about the morons who spent all that money for two games that arguably were misery for Cub fans. A shutout for gosh sakes and another bad offensive performance in a five-run defeat. Not worth 10,000 bucks.

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Oct 30, 2016 -> 05:23 AM) Opinion columnists in a major national newspaper...you always have some guys on the right, some on the left, this has the same amount of likelihood of making a difference as Leonard Pitts or Paul Krugman calling out Donald Trump. The fact of the matter is nobody has the first clue what, if anything, is there. The FBI doesn't even know. The only consequence might be on Huma Abedin and her needing to stay even more in the shadows. That said, the most recent WashPo poll had it 47-45 Clinton, and that was before Friday. Still, she has to be considered the favorite, although Trump has made some inroads with independent voters in the last 7-10 days. Why are so many people (not saying you) unwilling to simply write off Hillary? My gosh how many smoking guns do you want? The woman is corrupt as corrupt can be. Keep her the heck out of the Oval Office. When she gets elected, boy oh boy she's going to get a lot done during her first two years when the government will be putting her on trial. I get the feeling even if the Republicans had a normal candidate, people would still want Hillary. It baffles the s*** out of me. Oh well, let's elect her and get it over with an impeach her as soon as possible. probably in 15 months I'd say.

World Series: Indians vs. Cubs
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Oct 30, 2016 -> 06:13 AM) 25% of Cubs fans are unsure they would be happy about a win because the lovable losers tag would be gone forever...their entire franchise identity in modern times. I can guarantee no White Sox fan felt the same way in 2005. The only thing that had them shook was the Indians. But they survived it and came through whole on the other side. The Cubs aren't used to playing with this type of pressure because nobody pushed them the entire season. Sure, the Giants pushed a few buttons until they came back in the 9th...and being down 2-1 against the Dodgers, but they had home field, inexperienced rookies in Urias and Maeda and a lineup without multiple threats like CLE has with its top five hitters. Not to mention Miller/Allen have gotten into the heads of the Red Sox, Jays and now Cubs. Cubs' hitters were expanding their zones yesterday, and they still haven't made the necessary adjustments on offspeed stuff. It might just be too late to change the game plan at this point, because success came too easily for most of this year. I still think they'll roll next year no matter what. This would be exactly like KC losing to the Giants then coming back the next year and getting the job done. The Cubs are going to reach the WS again next year, it's just a matter of will they be going for two in a row; or to finally have the experience to win it all. Of course when you fail once you always can turn into a Detroit. Not getting the job done with a good core. I still think Cubs win it all this year. They have the best team.
