I enjoyed watching him because sadly there doesn't seem to be a place in baseball for a guy like that these days! He kind of forced his way into the situation! I wonder if he would even be up in the BIGS yet if he happened to be a 5th round pick yet performed the same way during his brief MiLB tenure? His play reminded me of the way baseball used to be...neither better or worse...just different! I can't root for him though...just can't do that for anyone wearing that uniform! I remember the day I heard Harold Baines was traded to Texas...it was heart-breaking! Of course, Larry Himes "fleeced" Texas in that deal and no way Yadi is worth 2 prospects like the White Sox hauled in for Baines. But I do get your sentiment...it stings the fans a bit when those types of situations happen!

Do you think it was Renteria's plan in game 3? Or Cooper's and Renteria went with it? Personally I feel that the (mis)management of the pitching staff had to be more than just those two making that decision. Hahn had to approve of it right? The way the 6 out stint played out it seems OK and it also seemed like for whatever reason they were trying to find a spot to get him more than an inning? Maybe way off base but it felt like the staff wanted Hendriks to throw a bit more than usual?
