RF was a HUGE issue this year! Could Vaughn be that guy? Maybe...but they should spend money on that position! I know much of it was due to injuries but our OF was ugly much of the season!

I thought for sure we would get an OF at the deadline...but was OK with the moves! The deadline has looked DISASTROUS at the moment! The moves they made ended up at best being meaningless...at worst detrimental in big games! The moves they didn't make (getting a hitter to play RF) were worse!

Agree...they haven't given up...they never would! But having Leury start in OF again is just not great! Goodwin (who isn't all that great either) should have been on this roster!

I hope we keep Vaughn and Sheets...but do agree that Burger won't get us much at this point. Sheets however...depends upon the internal evaluation of him. Do the White Sox see him being a 1 tool player (power from the left side)? If so...this might be the time to see what one could get for him? That left-handed bat really seems to be weighing on me though...because my head tells me Vaughn is going to be a stud for a long time yet I would be nervous trading Sheets this winter!

And even dumber...if someone living in Iowa happened to be a fan of the Tigers or Indians...and subscribed to MLB.tv they would get blacked out of every game the their favorite team played against the 6 teams blacked out in Iowa (3 divisional rivals...so a lot of games)! They would pay a full rate but not be able to watch 3/4ths of their favorite team's divisional games! How many games do Central division teams play against each other? Just flat out ripping the customer off!

Yep! Living in Iowa gets you buried in blackouts! Ridiculous! And they are trying to grow the game?

Vaughn seems like the guy we would regret moving in 5 years! Sure Sheets will be on some highlights as he just hits massive HRs...but Vaughn seems like an everyday stud player. Yeah he wore down this year but he did everything that was asked of him!
