  1. Same...I influenced quite a few people to go with YouTube TV...and I might have to be one of the first of the group to bail out!
  2. https://9to5google.com/2021/09/26/youtube-tv-price-nbc/ This would be aggravating! Guess I would have to get another source of my White Sox if this happens! I love YouTube TV but since I subscribed more than 2 years ago they went from broadcasting 5 mlb team's regional channels to my location to 1 (thankfully it is the White Sox)! I used to get the Twins, Cards, Brewers, Royals and White Sox (Cubs too but they left for their own network obviously). Anyway...hope YTTV and NBC figures this out!
  3. I just wonder if it is an automatic that Tony throws CK into an 8th inning in the playoffs? If he does...I may have to leave the room because my stress levels will be out of this world! LOL! I mean...I haven't seen much from CK in a White Sox uniform that makes me feel good about seeing him in an important situation come October!
  4. Yeah...I guess I get that they can pay Ohtani and Trout at the same time...but what does that leave for the rest of the roster? 2 stars are great to have...but if it extends their losing season streak from 6 to 10 or more...is it worth it? Ohtani is a unique talent for sure...I would love to see the Angels trade him this winter just to see what they could get back? Or...sign him long-term because his contract will be unlike any before due to the pitching and hitting aspect to his play.
  5. Could he be available? Can the Angels pay both Trout and Ohtani? With 2 seasons left before free agency this would be the time to get a monster haul in return. And if that potential scenario played out well...the Angels could be good in 2 seasons and could sign Ohtani as a FA again. The White Sox don't have what it would take in terms of prospects...who out there does? If Ohtani plays with the Angels 2 more years without an extension...there are only 4 or 5 clubs that would be in the mix to be able to pay him right? Would the Angels have the courage to trade him this offseason? https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/32289566/shohei-ohtani-pitching-gem-another-losing-effort-future-los-angeles-angels-want-win
  6. Is our pace of play slower than most teams? Almost 2:30 to play 7 innings in a 1-0 game at this point! I have nothing better to watch...but it just seems like White Sox games are so much slower than other games I watch? Maybe it is just that I am more invested in watching the White Sox?
  7. Yep...I would guess he would take that QO right now! I mean...of course he is dreaming of getting an offer that is $80 to $100 million...but an organization would have to be insane to offer him that! So I could see him accepting a 1 year $18 million QO! What is the time frame of QO to the date they have to accept/reject it? That could play into the White Sox thinking...
  8. I worry about this...if that isn't the case...the offense really has to start lighting it up for more than 1 game in a row! Yikes!
  9. I felt I couldn't see Luis' double off the bat right due to the angle of the camera...thought it was a foul back toward the 1B side...but it may just me getting old!
  10. While we are being told Rodon is "resting" at this point...he has not been injury free during the second half! He spent time on the IL for shoulder? Can't remember exactly...might have been elbow? Either way...most likely this is not all about "rest" when it comes to Rodon!
  11. If I recall correctly...Stone was adamant that there was no animosity at all...just a player wanting to wait until the season was over. Hope for Carlos' sake that he is healthy this winter but I just don't see the White Sox offering him a big contract...guessing someone desperate will however!
  12. Might not have been a formal offer but I believe Stone said on the Score in the days after signing Lynn to an extension that the White Sox approached Rodon but that Rodon and his camp wanted to wait until the off-season to discuss any deals. Maybe I misheard it but I am almost positive Stone said that on the radio. So...maybe not an offer per se but if they flat out didn't want to negotiate at that time...then he in effect turned down some guaranteed money!
  13. Bad timing...wonder what the White Sox offered him in July that he turned down? Wonder if there are any regrets on his end? Love the guy...but his health is always going to be a huge question! How big of an offer is he going to get this offseason? And do the White Sox risk offering him the QO?
  14. At this point...leave him out there the rest of the game!
  15. It would be painful...but not surprising! I mean...Houston made us look like a AA team in that 4 game series in Texas. Although...yes...we had a ton of talent on the IL at that time...but our starters got slapped around hard!
  16. Hahn and Kenny have to cringe every they remember there are "tapes" of them saying the one guy they felt they needed to add to our roster was Kimbrel! Yikes...
  17. Someone would have to pass away first for that to happen...
  18. Yeah...time to find something else to do this afternoon...will check the outcome in the evening...so much for looking forward to an afternoon of baseball!
  19. Playing like we have the C team out there...wait...we might?
  20. I agree...but it will give the FO pause when considering who else is out there.
  21. Tony might do that...but will Rick and Kenny allow it?
  22. And 2B is probably the easiest/cheapest position to go out and replace! He is making it pretty easy on the front office! That said...if he goes out and has a huge post-season...everything changes!
