Leury needs to take 3!

LET'S GO...but wait...after Yoan we basically have 3 automatic outs...

RF was a HUGE issue this year! Could Vaughn be that guy? Maybe...but they should spend money on that position! I know much of it was due to injuries but our OF was ugly much of the season!

It isn't all his fault obviously...but has he helped drive this team or did he did get in the car and ride along?

I hope Benetti stays forever because he is damn good!

I don't mind him actually...but the interviews during games is a bit much!

Agree...though he was responding to what Katz said in those dumb mid-game interviews!

AJ was questioning what Katz said about Kopech can go 5 innings...if that is the case he should have been next man in after Giolito Friday!

Cease looked like he was tearing up...I know he wasn't...the lights...but he certainly will need some new pants because he peed hard down his leg!

Yep...the starters were pretty proud of themselves all summer...and then this!

I thought for sure we would get an OF at the deadline...but was OK with the moves! The deadline has looked DISASTROUS at the moment! The moves they made ended up at best being meaningless...at worst detrimental in big games! The moves they didn't make (getting a hitter to play RF) were worse!

Agree...they haven't given up...they never would! But having Leury start in OF again is just not great! Goodwin (who isn't all that great either) should have been on this roster!

I hope we keep Vaughn and Sheets...but do agree that Burger won't get us much at this point. Sheets however...depends upon the internal evaluation of him. Do the White Sox see him being a 1 tool player (power from the left side)? If so...this might be the time to see what one could get for him? That left-handed bat really seems to be weighing on me though...because my head tells me Vaughn is going to be a stud for a long time yet I would be nervous trading Sheets this winter!

And even dumber...if someone living in Iowa happened to be a fan of the Tigers or Indians...and subscribed to MLB.tv they would get blacked out of every game the their favorite team played against the 6 teams blacked out in Iowa (3 divisional rivals...so a lot of games)! They would pay a full rate but not be able to watch 3/4ths of their favorite team's divisional games! How many games do Central division teams play against each other? Just flat out ripping the customer off!

Yep! Living in Iowa gets you buried in blackouts! Ridiculous! And they are trying to grow the game?

Vaughn seems like the guy we would regret moving in 5 years! Sure Sheets will be on some highlights as he just hits massive HRs...but Vaughn seems like an everyday stud player. Yeah he wore down this year but he did everything that was asked of him!

So...is there free local TV for Chicagoland? Sorry...wrong post I responded to...but the question remains the same.

This will be an interesting offseason to watch in terms of Vaughn. I agree that Burger is probably gone...no reason to keep him around. But Vaughn...no way do you make him a platoon-player and I feel he is a better all-around hitter than Sheets but can he hit his way into the permanent lineup? He is going to have to if he wants to beat Sheets out for that OF spot. He also has the disadvantage of being RH though when compared to Sheets. Will he ever have more value if you consider trading him? Hope so because that means he is doing well...but if he does well then there is no need to trade him. Hope he sticks in the organization for a long time! He seems like the kind of guy you want on your team!

I just don't think I can watch this film because the entire time I will be thinking about how much I miss the Sopranos!

Hit up the new Venom movie with 2 of my boys this afternoon...it was alright. Only a bit longer than 90 minutes or so and I like that! Get in get out when it comes to that genre for me! My boys enjoyed it and therefore so did I!
