  1. I worry about this...if that isn't the case...the offense really has to start lighting it up for more than 1 game in a row! Yikes!
  2. I felt I couldn't see Luis' double off the bat right due to the angle of the camera...thought it was a foul back toward the 1B side...but it may just me getting old!
  3. While we are being told Rodon is "resting" at this point...he has not been injury free during the second half! He spent time on the IL for shoulder? Can't remember exactly...might have been elbow? Either way...most likely this is not all about "rest" when it comes to Rodon!
  4. If I recall correctly...Stone was adamant that there was no animosity at all...just a player wanting to wait until the season was over. Hope for Carlos' sake that he is healthy this winter but I just don't see the White Sox offering him a big contract...guessing someone desperate will however!
  5. Might not have been a formal offer but I believe Stone said on the Score in the days after signing Lynn to an extension that the White Sox approached Rodon but that Rodon and his camp wanted to wait until the off-season to discuss any deals. Maybe I misheard it but I am almost positive Stone said that on the radio. So...maybe not an offer per se but if they flat out didn't want to negotiate at that time...then he in effect turned down some guaranteed money!
  6. Bad timing...wonder what the White Sox offered him in July that he turned down? Wonder if there are any regrets on his end? Love the guy...but his health is always going to be a huge question! How big of an offer is he going to get this offseason? And do the White Sox risk offering him the QO?
  7. At this point...leave him out there the rest of the game!
  8. It would be painful...but not surprising! I mean...Houston made us look like a AA team in that 4 game series in Texas. Although...yes...we had a ton of talent on the IL at that time...but our starters got slapped around hard!
  9. Hahn and Kenny have to cringe every they remember there are "tapes" of them saying the one guy they felt they needed to add to our roster was Kimbrel! Yikes...
  10. Someone would have to pass away first for that to happen...
  11. Yeah...time to find something else to do this afternoon...will check the outcome in the evening...so much for looking forward to an afternoon of baseball!
  12. Playing like we have the C team out there...wait...we might?
  13. I agree...but it will give the FO pause when considering who else is out there.
  14. Tony might do that...but will Rick and Kenny allow it?
  15. And 2B is probably the easiest/cheapest position to go out and replace! He is making it pretty easy on the front office! That said...if he goes out and has a huge post-season...everything changes!
  16. Maybe Kimbrall needs a 9th to get his act together? Liam has been great for 2 weeks but Kimbrall needs to be fixed somehow!
  17. Benetti and Beckham are killing it on that long single...and they are right! I can't believe I just saw that play out in that fashion!
  18. AGREE! We just don't want to make things easy! UGH!
  19. Winning the series would feel really good! Especially after not getting any clutch hits last night (other than Jose's 9th inning HR...that was quickly overshadowed by LIam's implosion)!
  20. Offense has to be more consistent...can't all be on the bullpen to hold a 1 run lead...
  21. Maybe at the end that might be true? But Crochett has looked good of late! And confident!
  22. Your point is right though! Why sign a "middle reliever" to a contract if you aren't going to use him in somewhat important situations?
