Ed Farmer says Sox quit on Manuel
Well I will agree with Brando on this and say that no matter how bad of a manager someone is, a true professional never quits, no matter the circumstances.

Felix Diaz
He came from Charlotte, not Birmingham. And when he gets sent back down, that's where he will go back to.

We are so Fu**in' Lethargic!!
If we're going to talk about proposed changes, I'll go ahead and tell ya what should happen... (Note: I am not into hypothetical BS trades that will never happen so I will just use the goods we are provided.) Move #1: Option Timo Perez to AAA Charlotte, hope someone claims him off of waivers. If not he is our CF in Charlotte. Move #2: Purchase the contract of Jeremy Reed and place him on the Sox roster. Move #3: Option Felix Diaz to AAA Charlotte, recall Kelly Wunsch. The pitching roster would then look like this: Starters: Buehrle, Garland, Loaiza, Schoenweis, Cotts Bullpen: Politte, Adkins, Wunsch, Marte, Koch, Takatsu, Jackson Offense (everyday lineup): 2B Harris/Uribe (play the hot hand, play Uribe at 3B as well) CF Reed RF Ordonez DH Thomas LF Lee SS Valentin 1B Konerko 3B Crede C Olivo Bench: Alomar, Rowand, Gload

Easy schedule is over
Which will means Maggs will be dealt for prospects at or near the trading deadline and we'll officially be in rebuilding mode...

We are so Fu**in' Lethargic!!
We aren't trading Borchard, we paid him 5.3 million and he has low value right now, so he's not going to be dealt for virtually nothing, which is what you'd get for him at this point.

Felix Diaz
Asshole and scrub aren't two words I would associate with Felix Diaz and the type of guy he is, but hey, whatever floats your boat there pal... :headshake
-
Aaron Rowand
Bring up Reed and bench Rowand or option him to AAA and release Timo if you keep Rowand in Chicago.
-
Cotts should be the 5th starter
KW has something against Wunsch, that is why he is exhausting all options before proceeding to the most logical solution to this problem. Sad part is that he's not giving us the best chance to win and I am not happy about that whatsoever. We should also option Rowand and call up Reed, but he's not going to do that either until it's too late.

From what I understand, tonight's game will be on ESPN at 7 for those with out of towners who don't get FSN Cleveland or FSN Chicago.

The Continuing Decline & Fall of Mark Buehrle
Buehrle got the standing ovation Sunday...

Jose had two errors today
Exactly, he probably cost Buehrle a few more batters yeserday... :headshake

Jose had two errors today
Just out of curiousity, do you have a pornstache like Jose's?

Statement Game - Sox win 11-0
What was the statement? That the Twins won the series on our field? We'd better make a statement next weekend in the Metrodome.

Jose had two errors today
Considering I was at every game this weekend and sat along the first base side, I'll answer that for ya...Uribe has a stronger arm than Valentin...I watched carefully, Uribe has a cannon. Jose has a good arm, but not as good as Uribe's. He is our only lefty power, but once we get Reed up (which will be as soon as his wrists are 100%), you'll see a 3 man rotation at 2B/SS with Uribe, Valentin and Harris. We don't need a power hitter and that is the damn problem with this team. We need a guy who uses the whole field and gets on base, not a .250 avg with 25 HR. I think the past few years have shown that swinging for the fences isn't going to win the division. Reed will fit in nicely with his style of spraying the ball all over the field for singles and doubles. In fact he reminds me a lot of the Twins players who swing for base hits instead of swinging for the fences.

The Continuing Decline & Fall of Mark Buehrle
Great performance today by Mark...I'm happy I got to witness it first hand...

Do we owe Hawkaroo
Willie is playing well, but I'm not totally buying on him yet...Let's see what his average is in a month or so and how many bases he steals, then I'll pass total judgment. Until then, the jury is still out.

Burly-mon
By the way, Mark's era is now 3.99 after his last two outings...Just wanted to add that in.

Jose had two errors today
Jose makes me sick period...We can't get rid of this guy soon enough. I could care less how many runs he cost us with today's errors, his defense is piss poor and regardless of the stats you provide or "range" you claim that he has, I won't be convinced otherwise. Quit being fooled by your love for pornstache and open your eyes and realize that the guy SUCKS. That DP ball he booted today was right at him and ROUTINE and he backhands it and boots it...Why is he backhanding a ball that is right in front of him? Is he afraid to get hit with the ball? Get in front of the ball and make the play...And this guy is a professional...Come on. A great SS makes that play in his sleep and pornstache drops it and then makes another error. And let's also not forget that Juanny boy has a better arm than stache.

Burly-mon
Just got back from Chi-town and Buehrle looked great again today... If this guy pitches like this consistently, he's an all-star, no question. Mark

For those at the game yesterday....
Or how about telling them to get off of the damn dugout when they are ready to start the game back up...We're at the game to see the players play, not the Bucket Boys...If they wanna keep playing, let them do so in the parking lot after the game or better yet, in Cabrini Green.
