  1. That's just flat out ridiculous...No wonder people don't want to go to the park when things like this are happening. I am sorry to hear that Cheat and I hope you are alright my friend. You mean a lot to this site and its posters. I only hope that you are not seriously hurt and that you are feeling better as soon as possible. To be attacked for no reason is nothing short of ridiculous.
  2. The KW spin on things...Can't wait til we are freed of this guy as our GM...That'd be about the only good thing that would come out of us not winning the division this year...losing KW
  3. Quit hating on the best player in the league...When it's all said and done he'll have more rings than Jordan and a hotter wife too...I mean, do ya really think they're gonna find him guilty...Not a chance in hell.
  4. The Spurs are choking as we speak...They're going down in seven...If there's one team I can't stand more than the Lakers, it's the Spurs. :fyou San Antonio Lakers
  5. I'll be there Sunday, so let's hope Buehrle throws a masterpiece...
  6. It's sad when we are relying on Beastly to bring home a White Sox winner
  7. Ponson is overrated and will never duplicate the success he had last year...I for one am glad we don't have to deal with him and his ERA which is growing by the day...
  8. Playing Devil's advocate here for a second...Neal Cotts was doing such a "great job" last year and came in and got pounded...Truth is, most guys who come up and make their ML debut don't have much success right away...Let's hope that's not the case for Diaz, but for any of you are expecting him to be great right away, you may come away extremly disappointed.
  9. What are we speaking of here, a promotion to Chicago or to Charlotte...Personally, I'd rather keep him in Birmingham and let him work there...There's really no reason to bring him up to Charlotte in my opinion as I don't think he'd really benefit much from the jump from AA to AAA. I've never seen him pitch, but from what I've heard he's a solid prospect.
  10. Are you crazy? When he have Juan Uribe, we won't be resigning Manos after the year. Sorry to burst your bubble there pal.
  11. As does Wunsch, as this option was the first time he has been optioned in his career...Brewers never had him on the 40 man and this is the first time he's been optioned...Too bad we have a GM like KW who thinks he can make Cotts a solid contributer by using the same program he used for Buehrle in the past...News flash, Neal Cotts is not Buehrle nor will he ever be Buehrle. Send him down, let him pitch. Cotts is a starter, not a reliever. Quit treating him as if he's a reliever... :fyou KW
  12. Don't give KW credit for being anything more than he really is, an idiot...
  13. I agree, I have seen Grilli twice now and have come away unimpressed both times.
  14. BP Baldwin is/was pitching, how surprising...
  15. Too bad he isn't a prospect....We may have something if he was...
  16. Got some cds in the mail today from Hammerhead, all I've gotta say is...
  17. Over the next few days, I'll be working on a Borchard feature for FutureSox...
  18. Wherever Steff says... Look forward to seeing as many of ya as possible...
  19. From today's Courier-Journal: The series will continue at 7:15 tonight. Felix Diaz, who leads the Knights with a 5-0 record and 1.86 ERA, was scheduled to start for Charlotte but entered yesterday's game in the sixth. He likely will join the Chicago White Sox this week. In Diaz's place, Oldham County High School product Jon Rauch (3-2, 3.21) will start. The Bats will counter with Bubba Nelson (0-4, 6.57).
  20. Knights wrap for ya from yesterday: http://www.courier-journal.com/cjsports/ne...s0510-7423.html "The series will continue at 7:15 tonight.
