  1. Nothing bad out of these comments, but this lineup has won the last two times it's been on the field (Sunday and tonight)...No reason to put Rowand back in there.
  2. The reason he was good in the 2 hole is because he was getting great pitches to hit in front of Franklin and Mags...He needs to be more patient and quit swinging at all of the junk he swings at and I think he'll be fine. But, if we've gotta put him in the two hole to get him going, so be it.
  3. I've got summer school tonight until 745 chicago time, but maybe i'll be able to catch some of the later part of the game chat. Have fun guys.
  4. Gotta keep Uribe in front of Maggs if you want him to remain hot.
  5. Doesn't really matter where Bikowski is, he's not a prospect, so he will play where they tell him to play. He should be happy just earning a paycheck.
  6. Yea, it's definitely badass and that's why it won't be long before I make the flight up to go to some more games...
  7. I agree, Rauch sucks, is no longer a prospect in the Sox eyes and is an asshole to boot. I am not rooting for him to do anything and if he reads this post, even better...
  8. Why would anyone want Billy Botch tattoed on their ass?
  9. I think a lot of what happens Saturday depends on the first two games of the series...We've got Loz and Mark starting out the series and to me those games are essential, if you win those two, you feel a bit better about letting Diaz go, but if you don't, maybe you do give someone else the call to take the ball, perhaps Cotts on a strict pitch count?
  10. Don't let Olivo catch Mark, he's pitched well his past two and he only wants Sandy catching him from what I understand. Sandy should be able to catch twice a week and for now, let him catch Mark and Diaz.

Go to the doctor, I will be disappointed if we can't tailgate again for the Braves series due to you being on the injured list...
  12. Good in theory, but no way all of that $ will sit on the bench. Plus, Val hasn't hit too bad this year, if he can keep hitting .270 he needs to stay in the lineup as long as he doesn't make any errors that cost us big time.
  13. We have Buehrle and Show and possibly Cotts very soon, why would we want another lefty starter? KC tried all leftys and look at them.
  14. Sorry to hear that Mike, I'll try to help out around a little extra. Thoughts and prayers are with you and Angie and the family.
  15. Looking good there, did ya make that yourself?
  16. Percy coming out to Stay Away by Godsmack out in Anaheim has gotta be badass to witness in person...Great song and I like Percy's style.

I'd get it checked out, I remember when I got hit pretty badly a few years ago my neck was sore for a week or so, but it went away soon after. Went to have it checked out though just in case. Glad you're okay though dear...
  18. Sorry Jas, we have a stud catcher, his name is Miguel Olivo. Draft a pitcher or a good position player like a SS, 2B. Get a catcher in the later rounds.
  19. I don't see why we would either...No reason to get Lilly and I wouldn't give up Lee or Borchard to get any of those guys.
  20. Especially considering that his numbers may be largely inflated playing in Colorado, what's to say he'd be worth anything near that playing elsewhere...Maybe Boston or the Yanks take him someday, but I don't know who else would.
  21. Thanks for your insight Jim, as always very appreciated and respected...You're one of the people I love talking baseball with here because you offer a great opinion and always have something intelligent to say....
  22. I know his make-up, he's not a quitter and he's not going to go out without one last stand... Borch
  23. Speaking of him, he's starting now in AAA for the Louisville Bats, the Reds affiliate here in town. He's looked decent and with the Reds pitching staff, you never know, he could get a shot.
  24. He's been hitting well since he's been back from the back problems, if he can put together a nice little streak, he could get the call to play center at some point this year if our current options don't pick up the pace...I am going to go out on a limb here and say that Joe is on the verge of getting hot and battling for a promotion. A lot of you have written him off, but let's remember he is still 25 and has all of the tools to become a stud.
  25. I agree, we don't need Ted Lilly, we have enough left handed starters and Catalanatto, while good, could be had for much less.
