It sucks if Joe really isn't having fun. Sounds like the Sox fans need to rally around him at the next homestand and keep giving Crede support. He's always seemed like a serious guy on the field, but we need Crede the rest of the way if we want to win the division. Let's go Joe Joe...
At least the current Twins lineup, he's capable of shutting them down. I feel a lot better with Mientkiewicz and Stewart not playing. (At least I hope Doug isn't back tonight.)
In other news, Jeremy Reed went deep last night twice and raised his average to .292. Hopefully this is a sign that he is nearing 100% health with his wrist after his recent struggles. He also hit leadoff for the Knights.
I'd never wish injury on anyone, but this is certainly a break for the Sox...Especially considering the schedule of Minnesota after we finish playing them.
Also, that was Morneau's first game in the bigs this season and Jose Offerman, who is terrible in the field, was playing second base...That's not the regular team defensively you will see from the Twinkies.
The Twins fearing the White Sox?
There's a laugher.
No Mientkiewicz, No Stewart and two below average pitchers...
Had we not won these games, something would have been wrong with us.
The next two games will tell us a lot more than Thursday and tonight did.
Let's see, we've got a problem with swinging for the fences too much...Wouldn't adding Burnitz just compound to this problem? That guys swings for the fences more than anyone. No way on this.
Looks like KW's cheap manuevering of Garland and Show to step up this year and be solid in the 3 and 4 holes has worked out so far....Let's hope it keeps up.
As for Bartolo... :puke
See ya El Goo
