QUOTE (ptatc @ Sep 18, 2013 -> 05:19 PM) Shorts, Royal or Knowshon Moreno for the flex in a PPR. (assuming Gronk doesn't return) Moreno. Should get a lot of touches in a presumed blowout. And most likely to score a TD. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Sep 18, 2013 -> 06:54 PM) Well great, now I have 2 useless runningbacks (Ridley and Bradshaw). I can't believe I am 2-0 with my awful running corps. Keep slingin' it, Aaron Rodgers! I have Ridley and Bradshaw too but fortunately they are only my RB3 and RB4. Someone just dropped Bilal Powell so if he passes through waivers I'm going to drop Bradshaw for him. QUOTE (bmags @ Sep 18, 2013 -> 07:05 PM) I have a feeling Gordon's value went in the crapper. I disagree. Cleveland will be throwing a lot this year. -
QUOTE (bbilek1 @ Sep 17, 2013 -> 12:13 PM) Are the Steelers in salary limbo? How was it okay to send Big Ben out there with absolutely nothing. Who is their biggest tool on offense? Emmanuel Sanders? Felix Jones? Heath Miller? Terrible. Markus Wheaton could be a good one down the road.

QUOTE (bbilek1 @ Sep 17, 2013 -> 11:26 AM) What do you guys do for your injury news? Just wait for the day before the games or what? I have DeAndre Hopkins on the bench along with James Starks as my waiver pick up and I am curious to Andre Johnson's and Eddie Lacy's health. Monitor twitter. -

QUOTE (scs787 @ Sep 17, 2013 -> 11:22 AM) Josh Gordon, Marlon Brown, or Jermaine Gresham at Flex2? Gordon is coming back from suspension so I'm not sure if he needs to "get back in the swing of things", Brown has been money the first 2 weeks, and Gresham is facing the Pack who gave up big yards to Vernon Davis week 1. I like Gordon a lot. -

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Sep 17, 2013 -> 09:29 AM) so with both Ray Rice and MJD going down, I need some RB help. Best waiver-wire options this week? How deep is the league? Pierce, obviously. Woodhead would be a good PPR play in a pinch. Andre Ellington is the 3rd down back in Arizona and they play NO this week. Tolbert and Bush are always potential TD vultures. -

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Sep 17, 2013 -> 10:09 AM) I meant to say going forward. Those are my trade options coming back to me. Or Dwayne Bowe I'd still go Wayne. More consistent and with Indy's defense being so bad they'll most likely be throwing a lot -

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Sep 16, 2013 -> 11:02 PM) Reggie Wayne, Pierre Garcon, or Anquan Boldin? PPR. I'd go Boldin. They're playing Indy and their defense has been atrocious thus far -

QUOTE (chw42 @ Sep 16, 2013 -> 10:40 AM) Didn't matter, I won by a ton. But I really wanted the #1 spot in the league. In my big money league we pay out to the weekly winners. I need Roethlisberger to get me 8.5 points to win that for me this week -
FIFA 14 demo was pretty good. You could definitely tell the difference in player movement and could see the different ways the ball moves on shots now too

Is it me or through the first two games has Ben Tate looked a lot better than Arian Foster? I could see this situation frustrating fantasy owners all season long. -

QUOTE (chw42 @ Sep 15, 2013 -> 11:20 PM) Looks like I should have started Pryor over Kaepernick In hindsight but that really wasn't a debate. Pryor didn't actually play well either, but those rushing yards will bail him out fantasy-wise all year long -

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Sep 13, 2013 -> 10:45 AM) ASA has a pitchers mat, right? It's supposed to but often the ump just draws a strike zone in the dirt -

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Sep 13, 2013 -> 10:14 AM) Bush league? I don't see how it is bush league. And like I said, the ump went to the office to check, and it is legal. ISA rules obviously don't mind it The leagues around me I play in are all ASA and the rules do stipulate that both batter's feet must be completely in the batter's box prior to the pitch. -

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Sep 13, 2013 -> 09:27 AM) So we won 21-1 yesterday, but had a little incident with the opposing pitcher. One of our players stands behind the batters box before the pitch, and runs up on the ball when it is pitched. I have played with him for 8 years now, it has never been complained about before. The pitcher starts saying it is illegal and saying to check the book(which the ump did, and found nothing). It completely took the pitcher out of his game an he got so irritated about it and would not stop complaining. I just found it funny that such a minor thing could bother a guy so much. I'm pretty sure you do have to be in the batter's box. I kind of agree it is kind of bush league. Same with batter's who stand 5 feet off the plate. Gives the batter an even greater advantage. -

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Sep 13, 2013 -> 12:35 AM) Ppr is more fun, and makes rbs and wrs score closer to qbs. Also makes tds less important, which is fine by me since they are so random. Agreed. I can't play non-PPR anymore. Not as fun to me -
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 12, 2013 -> 09:16 PM) I said he would take a big jump this year, and he did. I also get the feeling we see him in Chicago next year at some point. I think we will look back on him and wonder how he wasn't a ranked prospect. To be fair, he was considered a potential top half of the first round pick going into his last year, but just put up bad numbers leading up to the actual draft. That's why he slipped

QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Sep 12, 2013 -> 02:19 AM) Had a ten team snake draft, I had the 5th pick. QUOTE (zenryan @ Sep 11, 2013 -> 07:47 PM) Who should I start in my flex position? T.Y Hilton or Chris Johnson? The guy I'm playing with has Luck so I'm hoping I could cancel out a TD catch by starting Hilton. Maybe I'm over thinking this and should play it safe by starting Johnson? In regards to Hilton, Indy's coach came out and said yesterday that he was disappointed in the way they used Hilton and want to get him much more involved in the game going forward. So take that for whatever it's worth. I'm starting him as my WR3 in a 3 WR league this week. -

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Sep 11, 2013 -> 11:53 AM) I don't know about much better, they did have Owens, who Bowe is trying to serve as on this team (and has similar size). You still can't dismiss the fact that Reid loves throwing the ball just because you think the Eagles had better receivers. It's not like he had Drew Brees playing for him. 8 out of 9 years for top 10 is a pretty big indicator of a pass-happy Reid. They were up big all day Sunday and still threw it 34 times. They're going to utilize Charles. If that means throwing it to him out of the backfield, or in screens or lining him out wide that's what they are going to do. McCluster as well. They may throw but it will be conservatively done. I could be wrong, but even as a Chiefs fan, I believe Bowe is going to disappoint fantasy owners this year. -

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Sep 11, 2013 -> 11:16 AM) No way. Andy Reid loves throwing the ball. Over the past nine seasons, Andy Reid offenses have been top-10 in the NFL in passing yards eight times. Andy Reid offenses in Philadelphia also had much better receiver corps. -
QUOTE (oldsox @ Sep 11, 2013 -> 10:05 AM) Can't remember when a young sox prospect had such a good year starting off. 21 yrs old, great stats, including 31 SB's. Who else was this good in year one? Anthony Webster comes to mind, but I can't remember his stats. Makes me wonder how Engel slipped to the 19th round. He had a pretty terrible junior year due to injuries I believe. So that coupled with the fact that he needed a decent over slot bonus probably scared some teams off.

The problem with Bowe is that Alex Smith does not throw a good deep ball and if KC is not behind they are not going to be throwing a lot. KC has a massively underrated defense that is going to keep them in the majority of their games and as long as Charles stays healthy *knocks on wood* they are going to run their offense through him, whether that is on the ground or lining him up at WR and exploiting the mismatch like they did a few times last week. -
Finally a weekend series in NY. Been a while since I've been able to take advantage of that
